Marlo Simms – Trinity – Jr. – C – Decatur, Ga.
Simms powered the Bantams to a pair of victories, averaging 17.0 points and 14.0 rebounds while shooting 65.2 percent from the field in 24 minutes per game in back-to-back career performances. In a thrilling comeback 79-73 victory over TCNJ, Simms posted 15 points, including three consecutive baskets in the final four minutes that gave Trinity a lead it would not relinquish, and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds. The junior followed with a career-high 15 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in 26 minutes as Trinity defeated SUNY-Brockport, 76-63.

Amherst – Anna Tranum (Bemus Point, N.Y.) tied a career-high with 20 points in a 76-55 season-opening win over Arcadia on Sunday, hitting 9-of-16 shots (56.2%), including 2-of-3 three-point attempts (66.7%). The senior added three rebounds and two assists while playing 26 minutes in the win.

BatesAva James (Bethesda, Md.) poured in a career-high 21 points on 8-for-13 shooting on Saturday in a 63-53 win for the No. 12 nationally ranked Bobcats over WPI in the season-opener for Bates. The senior hit 3-of-6 from 3-point range, grabbed five rebounds, and blocked a pair of shots. James did not turn the ball over in a team-high 34 minutes played.

Bowdoin – Bowdoin junior Abbie Quinn (Bangor, Maine) averaged 12.0 points and 6.0 rebounds, while shooting 57 percent from the field in just 19 minutes per game as the Polar Bears went 2-0, winning by an average of 39.0 points, at the Gordon Tip-Off Classic last weekend.

Colby – Amelia Hanscom (Andover, Mass.) led Colby to a pair of wins to open the 2025-26 campaign. The junior hit double-digits in points in both games and tallied a double-double in Colby's win over Wellesley.  Hanscom averaged 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 steals per game for the week.

Conn. College – Catherine Cole (Lebanon, N.H.) scored a career-high 20 points in the season opener to propel the Camels to an 85-41 victory at Mitchell. The senior shot 8-for-11 from the floor and 4-for-5 from deep and finished with four rebounds and two steals in the win. Later in the week, the guard recorded five points and five boards in a setback against Roger Williams.

Hamilton – Coming off the bench Annabelle Semeter (Westborough, Mass.) averaged 15.0 points and shot 54.5 percent (12-of-22) from the field, including 4-of-9 from beyond the arc in a pair of wins in the Continentals’ Hamilton Tip-Off Classic. Semeter dropped in 13 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, in a 79-75 victory against Salve Regina. The sophomore scored a career-high 17 points and converted a 3-point play in the second quarter that started an 18-2 run in a 79-62 triumph against Oswego State. Semeter was named to the all-tournament team.

Middlebury – Teagan Lind (Falmouth, Mass.) had a solid weekend for the Panthers. The forward opened the season with a career and team-high 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting with five rebounds and five assists against Springfield. Lind capped the two-game slate with 15 points, six assists, and three steals to propel Middlebury to a 67-62 victory over the University of Rochester in the Chuck Resler Tournament Consolation Game. The sophomore’s performance placed her on the all-tournament team.

Wesleyan – Olivia Quinn (Franklin, Mass.) pumped in a career-high 30 points to go along with 12 rebounds in Sunday's win over Emerson that clinched the Courtyard by Marriott Classic title for Wesleyan. Quinn scored 15 points in both the first and second halves against the Lions, shooting 12-for-20 from the floor and 5-of-7 from three on her way to her first career 30-point game. Quinn's 12 rebounds were one shy of her career-high, while she recorded her ninth career double-double. Quinn also posted 15 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in Saturday night's win over Hunter in the opening round of the Cardinals' home tournament. 

Williams – Micah Walton (Austin, Texas) scored a game-high 22 points and her nine rebounds were tied for the most in the game against Skidmore on Friday. The sophomore shot 10-of-12 from the free-throw line in the contest.
