HADLEY, Mass. - Tufts secured the top seed in the 2025 NESCAC Women's Soccer Championship with a convincing 6-0 win over Bowdoin on the final day of the regular season. The Jumbos earn the No. 1 seed for the fifth time in team history and first time since the 2019 season.
The tournament begins with quarterfinal action on Saturday, November 1 at the higher seeds. The four quarterfinal winners advance to the semifinal round on Saturday, November 7 at the highest remaining seed. The championship game is set for Sunday, November 8 at the site of the semifinal host.

No. 1 Tufts (12-1-2, 7-1-2 NESCAC) vs. No. 8 Wesleyan (9-3-3, 4-3-3, NESCAC)
- The Jumbos secured the No. 1 for the first time since 2019 and fifth time in program history with a 6-0 victory over Bowdoin in the regular season finale.

- Amherst, the three-time defending NESCAC Champion, has qualified for every NESCAC Tournament. A 3-0 victory over Trinity in the regular season finale allowed the Mammoths to secure the No. 4 seed for the second straight season.
- Amherst will host a quarterfinal for the seventh consecutive year.
- The Mammoths have won eight titles in team history, tied for the most by a conference team.
- Amherst went 4-1 over its final five regular-season matches.
- Colby, the No. 5 seed for the first time since 2006, has qualified for the NESCAC Tournament for the second straight season. The last time that happened was in 2013 and 2014.
- The Mules finished as the 2024 NESCAC Runners-Up after reaching the championship game for the first time in program history last season.

Tufts and Williams finished with 23 points. In head-to-head competition, Tufts defeated Williams to earn the No. 1 seed.
Amherst and Colby finished with 17 points. In head-to-head competition, the teams tied. Both teams have identical league win percentages and conference wins after finishing with 5-3-2 records. In comparing results against the top four teams, including all teams at the fourth spot (Tufts, Williams, Middlebury, Amherst, and Colby), Amherst went 1-1-2 and Colby went 0-2-2 as Amherst earned the No. 4 seed and Colby earned the No. 5 seed.
Bowdoin and Wesleyan finished with 15 points. In head-to-head competition, Bowdoin defeated Wesleyan to earn the No. 7 seed.
