NESCAC Player of the Week
Kate Flynn – Middlebury – So. - F – Milton, Mass.
Flynn was instrumental in helping Middlebury take down No. 3 Amherst over the weekend. On Friday night in a 1-1 tie that resulted in the Panthers claiming a shootout, Flynn assisted on the lone Middlebury goal. On Saturday, Flynn scored the first tally while dishing out the helper on the game-winning goal for the 3-1 win. Flynn is second in the conference with eight goals this season, while tied for third with 13 points.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Senior Julia Weiss (Manhattan, N.Y.) scored her first goal of the season last week in a 3-1 loss to top-ranked Middlebury. 
 
Bowdoin – Bowdoin was idle last week. The Polar Bears travel to Middlebury for a two-game set on January 24-25.
 
Colby – Anna Staton (Shelburne, Vt.) had a goal and an assist in a split with Conn. College. In Friday's setback, the senior tallied her fourth goal of the season midway through the second period to pull the Mules within one. In Saturday's victory, Staton helped open the scoring in the first period with her second assist of the year.  

Conn. College – First-year defender Lily Stern (Nove Zamky, Slovakia) was instrumental as Conn. earned a crucial weekend split at Colby. On Friday night, Stern opened the scoring with two minutes left in the first period, and added a blocked shot, as the Camels held on for a 2-1 win. On Saturday, Stern added another goal late in the second period, to help cut Conn's deficit to 3-2 heading to the third period, while also adding a season-high four blocks. For the weekend Stern recorded two goals on five shots with five blocks.
 
Hamilton – Teagan Brown (Northville, Mich.) posted a 0.67 goals against average and .977 save percentage in three starts for the Continentals. Brown made 23 saves in a 1-0 win against Wesleyan and followed up that performance with 28 stops in a 5-0 victory against the Cardinals. Earlier in the week at Nazareth, the sophomore turned away 34 shots in a 2-1 setback. Brown has three shutouts in 11 starts this season and hasn't allowed a goal in 144 minutes.

Trinity – Sophomore Madeline Carter (Oak Park, Ill.) was a force in net for the Bantams, posting a 2-0 record with a 0.50 goals against average, a .978 save percentage and 44 saves during a pair of crucial conference victories for the Bantams. In a 2-1 win at Williams, Carter logged 24 saves in the series opener then delivered her third shutout of the season with 20 saves in a 2-0 win over the Ephs in the finale.
 
Wesleyan – Aimee Seppenwolde (Needham, Mass.) scored two goals on Tuesday against Endicott for her first career multi-goal game. The junior finished with two blocked shots and a +2 plus/minus rating in three games for the week. 

Williams – Senior goaltender Amanda Lackmann (Farmington, Minn.) made a season-high 33 saves and only allowed one goal for a .971 save percentage against visiting Trinity Saturday.
