Every Tuesday throughout the swimming & diving season, the NESCAC Performers of the Week will be announced. The men's swimming & diving performer of the week and honor roll performers for January 14 are listed below.

NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week
Gabriel Lunardi – Amherst – Sr. – New York, N.Y.
Lunardi had two great wins in Amherst’s meet against Williams last weekend. The senior kicked off the meet with a pool record of 9:28.8 in the 1000 freestyle and followed up with a 4:37.88 in the 500 freestyle to complete the distance sweep.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Bates – Max Cory (Dublin, Calif.) had an impressive return to action after a semester abroad. The junior began with a time of 20.74 in the 50 freestyle and 46.15 in the 100 freestyle, along with a 19.98 split on the Bobcats’ 200 freestyle relay against Dartmouth. Against Middlebury, Cory posted four victories in the 50 freestyle (20.55), the 100 freestyle (45.80), the 200 freestyle relay (20.88 split), and the 200 medley relay (19.95 split).  
 
Bowdoin – Raphael Grand’Pierre (Atlanta, Ga.) was a bright spot for Bowdoin on Sunday versus Connecticut College. The sophomore finished second in the 50 freestyle (21.59), second in the 100 butterfly (51.70), and was a strong leg on two second-place relays with a butterfly split of 51.7 and a freestyle split of 47.4.
 
Hamilton - Luke Engel (Lansdale, Pa.) in the 1000 and 500 freestyle in his first dual meet of 2025. The senior won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:04.83 and placed third in the 500 freestyle (4:56.00).

Trinity – Ben Lynch (Pembroke, Mass.) took a break from his typical distance events and went a best time in all three of his individual sprint events. The sophomore started off the meet with a 100 butterfly where he posted a best time in both his extracted 50 time (26.50) time and his 100 time (56.80). Lynch then swam the 100 freestyle posting a best time (52.84) and wrapped up the meet by swimming another best time (58.25) in the 100 IM.
 
Williams – Senior Oliver Schalet (Northampton, Mass.) had a sensational performance against Amherst on Saturday. Schalet finished off the day with three individual wins in the 100 freestyle (46.26), 200 freestyle (1:42.14), and 200 IM (1:53.49). Schalet wasn’t done there as he played a crucial role for the winning 400 freestyle relay (splitting 46.89).
