Why did you choose to be a Division III student-athlete?
I chose to be a Division III student-athlete because it offered the opportunity to go to a top academic school while being able to both play at a high level and have the opportunity to compete for championships. Division III also allowed me to maintain a healthy balance between academics and athletics, giving me the chance to excel in both areas.
What is the best thing about being part of the NESCAC?
The best thing about the NESCAC is the competitive atmosphere between the NESCAC schools. It creates an exciting atmosphere before games, which you can’t help but look forward to being a part of every week. This is amplified by the tight-knit communities NESCAC schools have, where students, faculty, and alumni rally behind their teams.
Looking back on your college years, what are you most proud of?
Winning a national championship was an incredible moment of pride. It came during a time when COVID nearly canceled our season, and there was very little to look forward to besides soccer. In a period when it felt like so much was out of our control, both the team and the Connecticut College community managed to rally together and accomplish something truly special.

What is something you enjoy doing that you never get tired of
Nothing feels better than singing "Wagon Wheel" at the top of your lungs after a win. I’m going into my fourth year of it being our win song, and I’m still not tired of it.
Who is your favorite professor?
Noel Garett is incredibly supportive, inspirational, and proactive when it comes to helping students. In addition to being an avid supporter of the soccer team, he is always approachable and great to talk to.
Have you studied abroad during your collegiate experience?
I studied in London during the spring semester at City University of London, where I took two economics classes and two cultural classes. It was exciting to learn in a different academic environment and interact with both London locals and other study abroad students from the U.S. During my time there, I also had the opportunity to travel to Barcelona, Prague, and Amsterdam.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete?
The greatest skill I learned from being a student athlete is how valuable it is to get to know the people around you. It is amazing how much effort someone is willing to put in for you if you take the time to get to know them and build a relationship with them.
What is your favorite place on your campus?
My favorite place on campus is the school’s Arboretum. It’s a beautiful area that’s great for long walks and seeing how far you can go without losing your way. During exam periods, the Arboretum is great as calming retreat where I can take a break from studying.
What is something you enjoy doing when not in class or competing in your sport?
I enjoy any outdoor activity like golfing, fishing, or rock climbing. I’m always up for a challenge and enjoy doing anything competitive. Most recently I have been playing a lot of pickleball as it something fast paced that you can play for a long time.
