NESCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Zack Burd – Wesleyan – Sr. - M – Austin, Texas
 In a week that saw the Cardinals pick up a pair of NESCAC road wins to stay unbeaten on the season, Burd led the way with five points on two goals and one assist. The senior started with one goal and one assist, in the Cardinals’ 5-0 win at Trinity, which signaled the first time Wesleyan scored five times against a NESCAC foe since 2015. Burd added the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 triumph at Hamilton, which represented the first time the Cardinals defeated the Continentals in Clinton, N.Y. since 2015. 

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
BatesTife Agunloye (Monroe, Conn.) was responsible for both Bates goals last week. The senior scored the lone goal in the Bobcats' 1-0 win over the University of New England on Tuesday, finding the back of the net in the 59th minute. Agunloye followed up with a goal against Emerson on Saturday, tying the match at 1-1, as Bates eventually fell 2-1 for its first loss of the season. Agunloye’s four goals through four matches this year equals his total number of goals from last season.
 
Bowdoin - Junior goaltender Alex Ainsworth (Winnetka, Ill.) led the Polar Bears to two shutouts last week. Ainsworth made one stop in a 5-0 win over Husson before making two saves in a 0-0 deadlock at Connecticut College on Saturday.

Colby – Senior Brendan McCarthy (Northborough, Mass.) recorded his first shutout of the season with four saves in a midweek victory over the University of Southern Maine. The senior had two shutouts in net as a rookie and two more as a sophomore before exploding for six shutouts a year ago.  

Connecticut College - Senior goalkeeper Peter Silvester (Smiths Parish, Bermuda) notched three clean sheets as Conn. College picked up one win and two draws on the week. On Tuesday against Salve Regina, Silvester recorded five saves, to help the Camels pick up the non-conference road win. Over the weekend, Silvester helped the Camels earn back-to-back 0-0 draws in NESCAC action, stopping one shot against Bowdoin on Saturday and following up with three saves at Tufts. Silvester raised his save percentage to .938 and lowered his goals against average to 0.21.

HamiltonLuke O'Dowd (Summit, N.J.) scored the first goal in the Continentals' 2-0 win at Williams and added Hamilton's lone score in a 2-1 setback against Wesleyan. The defender helped lead the Continentals in their shutout against the Ephs and a scoreless first half against the Cardinals. The senior entered the week with one career goal at Hamilton.

Middlebury – Junior Gavin Randolph (Boston, Mass.) tallied a career-high five points (2G, 1A) on Saturday, propelling Middlebury to a 9-0 victory over Trinity. The Panther recorded the game-winning marker just over five minutes into the contest while adding a goal and an assist. Randolph is tied for first in the NESCAC in points (9) and goals (4).

Tufts – Sophomore Bijan Akhtarzandi-Das (Washington, D.C) scored once in the Jumbos’ 2-0 victory over Colby and played the full 90 minutes in the second game of the weekend, a 0-0 draw versus Conn. College.

WilliamsLorcan Mitchell (Winchester, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal, which was his first collegiate goal, in the 73rd minute to lift Williams to a 1-0 victory over No. 1-ranked Amherst on Saturday in Williamstown, Mass. The victory against Amherst was the first for the Ephs since a 2-1 victory at Amherst on Sept. 22, 2018. The victory was the first for Williams against Amherst at Cole Field since a 2-1 triumph on Oct. 29, 2005.
