NESCAC SUMMER SPOTLIGHT: Mohamed Sharaf, Trinity Men's Squash

Mohammed Sharaf graduated from Trinity College in the Spring of 2024 following a prestigious career as a member of the Men’s Squash program.

Sharaf finished his reign at Trinity College with a 55-9 career record, closing his senior year with an 18-2 mark, including and unbeaten record of 6-0 in conference play.  Sharaf helped guide the Bantams to their 17th consecutive NESCAC Championship title and the program’s 23rd appearance in the College Squash Association (CSA) Potter Cup Final. Sharaf was selected as a finalist for the 2024 Skillman Award, given annually to a senior men’s squash player who has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship during his entire college career while maintaining a high level of play.

Sharaf became the first Trinity player since 2016 to be named the NESCAC Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons, and the first season to take home the award since 2019. Sharaf earned All-NESCAC First Team status for three consecutive seasons.

As a junior, Sharaf led the Bantams with a 20-4 record at the top of the Trinity lineup, and won the CSA National Singles "A" Pool Division title in dominant fashion with 3-0 victories in three of his four matches in the tournament to finish as the nation's top-ranked player.

Following graduation, Sharaf will be returning to Trinity as an assistant coach for the men’s team for the 2024-25 season.
