NESCAC Player of the Week
Ayla Abban - Amherst - Fy. - F - Duxbury, Mass.
Abban scored three goals in the first two games of her collegiate career. In a season-opening 3-0 win over Williams, the rookie scored the first two goals of the game, including a shorthanded tally, and was credited with the game-winning goal. In a 6-2 win over the Ephs, she scored the first goal of the game to give Amherst a 1-0 lead. 
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Bowdoin – Goaltenders 
Sally Solotaroff-Webber (Montclair, N.J.) and 
Sarah Peterson (Maple Grove, Minn.) were outstanding in leading the Polar Bears to a season-opening sweep of Wesleyan. On Friday, Solotaroff-Webber, a senior, stopped 29 shots in a 4-2 Bowdoin victory before Peterson, a sophomore, made 39 saves, permitting just one goal in a 2-1 win on Saturday.
Colby – The Mules were idle last week and open the 2024-25 season on Tuesday (Nov. 19) versus Suffolk.
Conn. College - First-year 
Caitlin Pierce (Edgewater, N.J.) made an immediate impact in her collegiate debut on Friday night. Pierce tallied both goals for Connecticut College in a season-opening setback to Trinity. Additionally, Pierce collected 11 face-off wins across both games over the weekend.
Hamilton – 
Sarah Myziuk (Macomb, Mich.) scored the Continentals' goal in a 3-1 setback against Middlebury on Saturday. It was the first collegiate goal in the first-year's second career game.
Middlebury  - 
Sabrina Kim (Los Angeles, Calif.) helped Middlebury complete a weekend sweep over No. 10 Hamilton to start the season. The defender tallied three assists, including two on Friday night, in the two games which paces the NESCAC. Kim was on the ice for nearly every goal for the Panthers, recording a +5 which is tied for first in the conference. 
 
Trinity – Senior 
Paige Kehoe (Manasquan, N.J.) led the Bantams in scoring as Trinity opened the season with a pair of victories over Connecticut College. Kehoe recorded a goal with an assist in the Bantams’ season-opening 4-2 victory, and added an assist in Trinity's 4-2 win in the nightcap.
Williams – Sophomore 
Katherine Kang (Amherst, Mass.) scored her first collegiate goal in the third period at No. 6 Amherst on Saturday.
