NESCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Gavin Mpiana – Conn. College – So. – F – Cape Town, South Africa
Mpiana led Connecticut College to a 2-0 week, tallying five points on two goals and one assist. On Tuesday night, Mpiana notched an insurance marker for the Camels, before adding an assist on the third goal, as Conn. College defeated Coast Guard, 3-0, to hand the Bears just their third loss of the year. On Saturday in a crucial NESCAC matchup, Mpiana recorded the second goal of the game 20 seconds after Conn. College opened the scoring to help lead the Camels to a 3-0 win over Bates.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Senior 
Ben Clark-Eden (Littlehampton, England) assisted on both goals in the Mammoths' 2-1 win over Hamilton on Saturday, including the game-winner in the 86th minute. Clark-Eden led an Amherst defensive unit that allowed only three shots on goal in the win.
Bates – Senior 
Rex Ah Chu (Flower Mound, Texas) recorded the lone shot on goal for the Bobcats Saturday at Connecticut College. It was the defender's second shot on goal this season. The Bobcats held the Camels scoreless in the first half before the hosts pulled away over the final 45 minutes. The Bobcats stand two points out of the final playoff spot in NESCAC action, with two matches remaining.
 
Bowdoin - Junior 
Tyler Huck (Ross, Calif.) continued his hot play, scoring a go-ahead goal in the second half of an eventual tie against Wesleyan Saturday.
 
Colby – Senior 
Mario Simoes (Belem, Brazil) connected for a trio of goals in Colby's win over Trinity on Senior Day. The hat trick is the third of Simoes' career, but the first against a NESCAC opponent.  All three goals came in a 10-minute window early in the second half to put the game out of reach and keep Colby's playoff hopes alive.

Hamilton – 
Luke Peplowski (Pittsfield, Mass.) scored on a penalty kick in the Continentals' 2-1 setback against Amherst. The goal tied the score in the 82nd minute and it gave Peplowski the 49th and 50th points of the senior's career.
 
Middlebury – Junior 
Joey Waterman (North Andover, Mass.) posted his seventh shutout of the season on Saturday, helping Middlebury split points with Tufts in a scoreless draw. The Panther made four saves during the contest, including one late in the second half. 
 
 
Tufts – Junior 
Henry Perkins (Wooster, Ohio) led the offense for the Jumbos last week. Coming on as a substitute, he scored the game-winning goal in a midweek NESCAC matchup at Amherst. Perkins also notched a shot on goal in a scoreless draw against Middlebury on Senior Day.
 
Wesleyan – Senior 
Chris Porte (Madison, Conn.) scored a diving header goal in the first half of a 2-2 draw at Bowdoin on Saturday. 
 
Williams – The Ephs were idle last week.
