NESCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Brendan McCarthy – Colby – Jr. – GK – Northborough, Mass.
McCarthy tallied two more shutouts in net last week, including guiding the Mules to a 2-0 win at Trinity where he registered six saves and defended six second-half corner attempts. The junior goalkeeper has four shutouts this season and the Colby defensive unit has not surrendered a goal this season.  
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – 
Mohammed Nuhu (Accra, Ghana) scored two goals in two games last week, including one in a 3-1 win over Tufts Sunday. The first-year forward also scored in a 3-0 win at Manhattanville for the unbeaten Mammoths. 
Bates – 
Tife Agunloye (Monroe, Conn.) scored a goal and dished out an assist in a 2-0 win over the University of New England on Tuesday. The junior followed up with three shots, two of which were on goal, against last year's national runner-up, Williams on Sunday.
Bowdoin - Sophomore 
Alex Ainsworth (Winnetka, Ill.) made four saves in a 0-0 tie Sunday against Connecticut College. The performance lowered the netminder's season GAA to 0.27 in four matches.
Conn. College - Goalkeeper 
Peter Silvester (Smiths Parish, Bermuda) continued his solid play between the sticks as Conn. College went 1-0-1 last week. In the week's opening game, Silvester recorded one save to earn a clean sheet and registered an assist in the Camels' 2-0 win over Salve Regina. On Sunday, the junior recorded his third clean sheet of the season with three saves, as Conn. College played to a scoreless draw against Bowdoin.
Hamilton – Junior 
Charles Hawthorn (Houston, Texas) scored for the first time this season and the eighth time of the junior's Hamilton career in a 4-1 setback against Middlebury.
Middlebury – 
Ryan Grady (Deerfield, Ill.) played a key role in Middlebury's 4-1 victory over Hamilton on Saturday, stopping nine shots by the Continentals, which is the second-most saves in the senior's career. The goalie also became the first Panther to eclipse the 30-career shutouts mark on Tuesday, in a 4-0 win over Norwich.
Trinity – Against Colby, 
James Donaldson (Kirkland, Quebec) attempted the first shot of the game for either team at the 15-minute mark, but it narrowly glanced off the crossbar and over the net. The senior captain had another scoring chance on net, but a Mules' defender blocked the shot in the center of the goal line. 
Wesleyan - Junior forward 
Lucas Ruehlemann (Waldwick, N.J.) scored twice, including his first career brace, in a 3-1 win at Brandeis in the lone game for the Cardinals last week. Ruehlemann scored from the penalty spot for the second time this season to knot the score at 1-1 and later came up with a worldly strike in the 64th minute, nailing a right-footed volley into the upper right corner for a goal that stood as the game-winner. 
Williams – Sophomore 
Mohamed Keussom (New York, N.Y.) scored twice in a 2-0-0 week for the Ephs. He scored the game-winner in the 12th minute in a 1-0 triumph at Hamilton on Tuesday and netted the Ephs' final goal in the 68th minute in a 3-0 win at Bates on Sunday.
