NESCAC Player of the Week
Sara Ito-Bagshaw – Bowdoin – So. – F – Hadley, Mass.
Ito-Bagshaw had four key assists last week as the Polar Bears extended their winning streak to four games entering winter break. Ito-Bagshaw assisted on the game's first goal in a 4-2 win over Southern Maine on Tuesday, fed Bella Mele for the overtime game-winner against Plymouth State on Friday, and then assisted on both third-period goals for a 3-2, come-from-behind win at Johnson & Wales on Saturday. Bowdoin's six wins before break are the most for the team since 2017.

Amherst - Senior Ellie DeCarlo (Waxhaw, N.C.) notched two assists in a 5-0 win over Manhattanville for the Mammoths in their only game last week.. 

Colby - Meg Rittenhouse (Tampa, Fla.) scored a goal in all three games this week guiding the Mules to a trio of victories, including the Castleton Invitational title. The senior tallied a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win versus the University of New England on Tuesday and scored two goals in the opening round of the tournament against Potsdam. In the final, she scored once more as the Mules upped their season-high with six goals. Rittenhouse leads all NESCAC scorers with 1.0 goals/game and 1.43 points/game.  

Conn. College - Sophomore goaltender Devon Galizio (Wayland, Mass.) was fantastic in goal, as the Camels went 2-0 on the week, earning two shutouts and stopping all 41 shots faced. In the opener on Tuesday night, the Camels came away with the 1-0 victory over UMass Boston, as Galizio was perfect throughout, making 17 saves. Galizio continued her strong play in net on Friday night, collecting her second straight shutout, making 24 saves, as Conn. earned the 3-0 win at Suffolk. On the year, Galizio is up to a 3-1-1 record, with a 1.18 goals against average and a .952 save percentage. 

Hamilton – Rookie Teagan Brown (Northville, Mich.) made 26 saves in a 1-0 win against Utica. The shutout was the first of Brown's collegiate career in the first-year's only start last week. Utica had not lost in regulation since the first game of the 2022-23 season and had not been shut out since Feb. 27, 2021.

Middlebury – Sophomore Avery McInerny (Westford, Mass.) factored into more than half of Middlebury’s goals in a 7-0 triumph over UMass Boston on Saturday. The Panther doubled her career single-game point total, posting two tallies and a pair of assists. McInerny sparked the Middlebury scoring frenzy with a power-play and game-winning marker just 2:08 into the contest. The four points tie for first in the NESCAC this season.

TrinityMartina Exnerova (Nelahozeves, Czechia) potted a goal and an assist during the Bantams’ 6-0 victory over Western New England. The junior dominated the faceoff circle as well, going 12-2, during the win.

Wesleyan – Sophomore Dylan Green (Pittsburgh, Pa.) had a big four-point game as the Cardinals defeated the University of New England by a score of 6-1 on Saturday afternoon. The career-high four points for Green came on two goals and two assists while she also led the team with a +4 plus/minus rating. The two goals are the first in Green's career while the four points are the most by a Cardinal in a single game since 2008. 

Williams – Junior Quinn Dawson (Oakville, Ontario) compiled one goal and three assists during a 1-0-1 weekend for Williams. The Ephs trailed Endicott, 3-1, before Dawson assisted on a goal with 8:44 remaining in regulation, and then netted the equalizer 1:16 later to earn a 3-3 tie on Sunday. Dawson scored a goal in the shootout, which was won by Endicott, 2-1. Dawson picked up two assists in a 7-0 win at Plymouth State Saturday.
