Every Tuesday throughout the swimming & diving season, the NESCAC Performers of the Week will be announced. The men's swimming & diving performer of the week and honor roll performers for November 21 are listed below.

NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week
Nathaniel Taft - Hamilton - Fy. - Fairfield, Conn.
Nathaniel went two lifetime bests in the double-dual meet against Colby and Trinity. The newcomer won the 50 freestyle (20.65) and the 100 freestyle (45.38). Both times were school records and the 100 freestyle time was also a pool record. Taft ranks among the top 10 in the country at the start of the week in the 100 freestyle. Taft also anchored the 200 medley relay (20.40) and led off the winning 200 freestyle relay (20.86).

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst - Sophomore Jaden Olson (Chicago, Ill.) won the 100 butterfly (50.92) and the 100 backstroke (51.25) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay against Colby College in the season-opening meet for the Mammoths.

Bates - Max Cory (Dublin, Calif.) swam the two relays and two individual events against Wesleyan. The rookie went 20.73 in the 50 freestyle and 50.84 in the 100 butterfly (a Bates pool record) to win both. Cory was also part of two relay wins, posting a split of 22.12 in the butterfly leg of the 200 medley relay and leading off the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 46.51.

Bowdoin - Raphael Grand'Pierre (Atlanta, Ga.) had a strong opening to his collegiate swimming career. The first-year won the 50 freestyle (21.52) and was third in the 100 freestyle (48.04). His butterfly split in the 200 medley relay (22.6) and lead off on the 400 freestyle relay (47.7) were just as strong.

Colby - Spencer Cohen (Bishop, GA) has his best start to the season winning the 200 backstroke (1:52.57) versus Amherst on Saturday and placing first in the 100 backstroke (53.00) on Sunday vs Hamilton and Trinity. 

Conn. College - First-year Cam Bizjak (Willoughby, Ohio) won both the 1-meter (260.62) and 3-meter (240.82) boards in his first collegiate meet on Saturday against Middlebury. 

Trinity - In the season-opening meet, Matthew Brown (Beverly, Mass.) showed his versatility swimming the A-200 medley relay, 1000 freestyle, 400 IM, and B-200 freestyle relay. Brown had two individual podium finishes in the 1000 freestyle (10:20.63) and 400 IM (4:20.76). In the relays, the junior posted splits of 25.50 on the backstroke leg and 22.31 on the anchor leg of the 200 freestyle relay. 

Tufts - First-year Jay Wilkinson (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) made his debut for Tufts in this weekend's meet against Brandeis winning the 1-meter diving event with a score of 325.35 which is an NCAA qualifying score and ranks fourth all-time for Tufts divers. The newcomer also finished runner-up in the 3-meter event with a score of 252.22. 

Wesleyan - Senior Mason Polaner (Katonah, N.Y.)  took a close second in the 200 freestyle against Bates with a time of 1:46 and won the 500 freestyle (4:56) while also displaying his sprint speed anchoring the 200 medley relay with a split of 21.8.

Williams - In Barrett Heritage's (Annapolis, Md.) first time racing since December of 2021 he helped lead the Ephs to a victory over Springfield. Heritage won both the 200 medley relay and the 50 freestyle. In the relay, the junior swam the butterfly leg (22.61) and in the 50 freestyle Heritage recorded a time of 21.72. Heritage also recorded the top 100 butterfly time of the meet at 51.00.
