NESCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Julian Jacobs – Hamilton – Sr. – D – Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.
Jacobs scored the first goal in a 2-0 win at Bates and the defender played every minute to anchor a defense that posted three shutouts. Hamilton also defeated Colby 1-0 and Ithaca 2-0 to complete a 3-0-0 week. The goal was Jacobs' first with the Continentals.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Junior Laurens ten Cate (Westport, Conn.) scored the equalizer with only 22 seconds remaining in the game to help Amherst forge a 1-1 tie with Wesleyan on Saturday. The Mammoths went 1-1-1 last week and threw in a clean sheet, a 1-0 victory over previously unbeaten Bowdoin in which ten Cate played a pivotal role. 

BatesTrevor Hammond (Canton, Mich.) recorded his second shutout of the season on Tuesday in a 0-0 draw with the University of Southern Maine. The rookie stopped all six shots on goal from the Huskies. Hammond also made six saves Saturday in a loss to Hamilton and ranks second in the NESCAC at 4.64 saves per game.

Bowdoin –Sophomore Felipe Rueda Duran (Beaverton, Ore.) scored twice in the final 1:15 as the Polar Bears stunned Trinity in a 3-2 comeback win on Saturday.

Colby - Luke Pentikis (Rumson, N.J.) tallied his first collegiate goal in a midweek victory over Husson on Tuesday.  The first-year broke a 0-0 deadlock moments into the second half as the Mules remained undefeated in non-conference play. 

Conn. College - Senior forward Jake Creus (Rye, N.Y.) was instrumental as Connecticut College remained unbeaten on the year with a 1-0-1 week. In Tuesday's win over Amherst, Creus tallied one goal and two assists to lead the Camels past the Mammoths, 3-2. Just two minutes after Amherst took the lead, the senior connected with Nate Pilson to tie the game at 1-1. Three minutes later the connection reversed, as Pilson found Creus, who finished off the feed to push the Camels in front, 2-1. Late in the contest, after Amherst drew level at 2-2, Creus’ cross connected with Max Haberman, who finished it off to give the Camels the 3-2 win.

Middlebury – Senior Ryan Grady (Deerfield, Ill.) helped Middlebury extend its unbeaten streak to 10 games (7-0-3) and mark the Panthers’ best start since 1999. In non-conference action, Grady tallied four stops against Vassar to secure a 2-2 tie. On Saturday, the goalie posted three saves to record his program-leading 34th career shutout with a 1-0 triumph over Colby. Grady is second in the conference in goals against average (.717), save percentage (.844), and shutouts (5).

Trinity – Senior James Donaldson (Kirkland, Quebec) delivered a pair of goals for the Bantams to seal the 2-0 non-conference victory over Western New England University.

Tufts - Nik Antic (Waltham, Mass.) posted a pair of shutouts for the Jumbos in non-conference play as Tufts went 1-0-1 last week. Antic made five saves in Tuesday's 0-0 draw at Babson and followed up with another shutout on Saturday in a 1-0 win over Emerson. In the victory over the Lions, Antic made two saves. The sophomore has four shutouts this season. 

WesleyanZack Burd (Austin, Texas) registered one goal and one assist for the Cardinals who played three games last week (1-1-1). The junior scored off a free kick in a 1-1 home draw against Amherst and also tallied an assist on Tuesday in a 3-1 loss at Western Connecticut.

WilliamsAndrew Coelho (Gloucester, Mass) scored the equalizer in the 62nd minute in a 1-1 draw at Connecticut College on Saturday. The rookie also totaled two shots in a 4-0 triumph over visiting Keene State on Tuesday.
