NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst –
Mohammed Nuhu (Accra, Ghana) scored the Mammoths' lone goal in a 1-1 tie with Hamilton on Saturday. The first year has three goals in his last two games and has five for the season.
Bates – A
Tife Agunloye (Monroe, Conn.) goal with just two seconds remaining in regulation stunned the University of Maine at Farmington, 2-1, in a non-conference tilt. With the match locked in at 1-1 and 20 seconds on the clock, the winning sequence began with Bates goalkeeper Trevor Hammond sending an outlet pass to Cesar Hoover, who booted the ball to the opposing end of the pitch. The feed caught a sprinting Wilson Smith as the sophomore settled the ball and dished it to a trailing Ollie Schiff Stein for a single touch before setting up Agunloye's left-footed, game-winning blast to the top. Agunloye leads the Bobcats with four goals on the season.
Colby – Junior
Mario Simoes (Belem, Brazil) tallied an assist in a setback against Bowdoin and struck for a hat trick in Saturday's Homecoming matchup against Maine Maritime.  The junior leads the team with 14 points despite missing almost four weeks due to injury.
Conn. College - Sophomore forward
Elliot Spatz (Bellevue, Wash.) tallied the only goal Conn. College needed, as the Camels defeated Bates 1-0 on Saturday in their only contest of the week. With just under 20 minutes gone in the first half the sophomore was able to slot the ball to the near post to help Conn. College pick up three points in NESCAC play.
Hamilton – Junior
Luke Peplowski (Pittsfield, Mass.) scored in the 89th minute and lifted the Continentals into a 1-1 tie at Amherst. Peplowski is tied for the team lead with five goals this season.
Middlebury –
Gavin Randolph (Boston, Mass.) helped Middlebury secure three critical points for the NESCAC standings in a 3-0 victory over Tufts on Saturday. The Panther assisted on the game-winning goal just 8:31 into the contest, before burying the ball in the back of the net less than three minutes later. The sophomore is second on the squad and fourth in the conference with 16 points this season.
Trinity –
James Donaldson (Kirkland, Quebec) was a leader on the field for the Bantams in a 6-0 victory over Castleton State, registering two goals. With Trinity holding a 1-0 lead late in the first half, Donaldson ripped a shot past the Spartan keeper to give the Bantams a 2-0 lead at the half. The senior added a second tally in the 54th minute en route to win.
Williams –
Ben Diffley (Summerville, S.C.) won two games in net in a 2-0-0 week for the Ephs. The senior earned his eighth shutout and eighth win of the year and added an assist on the Ephs' insurance goal in a 2-0 victory over visiting Trinity on Saturday. Diffley also made four saves to earn a 2-1 triumph over Western Connecticut on Wednesday. Diffley totaled six saves in the two games.
