HADLEY, Mass. – Nearly 1,600 student-athletes have been named to the 2022 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfers must have completed one year of study at an institution.

Of the student-athletes to garner All-Academic honors this spring, 172 earned both All-Academic and All-NESCAC accolades and 78 individuals were named to both the All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic Teams. A total of 12 student-athletes were named to all three squads: Anna Madden (Amherst Women’s Track & Field), Eliza Dean (Colby Women’s Lacrosse), Christopher Koskinen (Conn. College Men’s Track & Field), Kenneth Dieker (Middlebury Men’s Golf), Cassie Kearney (Middlebury Women’s Track & Field), Kamila Zygadlo (Trinity Women’s Track & Field), Josh Belandres (Tufts Men’s Tennis), Cora Kakalec (Tufts Women’s Track & Field), Jack Meehan (Tufts Men’s Golf), Kyle Camphausen (Wesleyan Men’s Lacrosse), Courtney Collins-Pisano (Wesleyan Softball), and Chase Cohen (Williams Men’s Tennis).
The All-Academic Team also includes the following individual award winners from this spring:

- Baseball Defensive Player of the Year: Cole Palmeri, Colby
- Softball Player of the Year: Noelle Ruschil, Middlebury
- Softball Pitcher of the Year: Sophia DiCocco, Tufts
- Softball Defensive Player of the Year: Josie Steinberg, Tufts
- Men’s Tennis Player of the Year: Chase Cohen, Williams
- Men’s Tennis Clarence Chaffee Sportsmanship Award winner: Harris Foulkes, Amherst
- Women’s Tennis Player of the Year: Jackie Bukzin, Amherst
- Men’s Golfer of the Year: Billy Geach, Hamilton
- Men’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Year: Will Byrne, Bowdoin
- Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Year: Jane Earley, Middlebury
- Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year: Molly Laliberty, Tufts
- Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Year: Olivia Lai, Wesleyan
- Men’s Track & Field Most Outstanding Performer: Luke Botsford, Tufts
- Women’s Track & Field Most Outstanding Performer: Malissa Lindsey, Conn. College
