HADLEY, Mass. – At the end of the NESCAC Men's Tennis regular season, Middlebury, Tufts, and Williams all finished in a three-way tie with identical 9-1 conference records. After applying the tiebreaker procedures the teams remained tied. A random action was used to determine the top three seeds with Middlebury coming out as the No. 1 seed, Tufts the No. 2 seed, and Williams the No. 3 seed.
This 2022 NESCAC Championship features a new format. The top eight teams based on regular-season round-robin conference play qualified for the tournament. Quarterfinal matches will be held at Wesleyan (primary site) and Amherst (secondary site) on Friday, May 6. The semifinal and championship matches will be played at Wesleyan on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8, respectively.
