HADLEY, Mass. – The NESCAC Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships return for the first time since 2019. All 11 institutions and 22 teams will convene at Hamilton College's Pritchard Track on April 30. The Continentals are serving as hosts of the championship meet for the first time since 2008. The meet will begin at 9 a.m. with the women's 10,000-meter race and several field events.

2019 Championship Recap
When the NESCAC Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships were last held in 2019 at Middlebury's Dragone Complex, the Panthers won the men's title for the second straight championship and the second time in program history. Middlebury won nine events and finished in the top three in 20 events overall. Tufts, the runner-up, and Amherst rounded out the top three squads in the team standings.

In the women's competition, Williams won the NESCAC title for the sixth straight championship and 26th time overall. The Ephs won six events and posted 16 top-three finishes. Middlebury was the runner-up and Bowdoin followed in third place.

The COVID-19 pandemic prevented the NESCAC Championships from being held in 2020 and 2021.

Championship History
Six schools have won the NESCAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field title, led by Williams with 23 overall. The Ephs' last NESCAC crowns came in 2016 and 2017. Tufts won three of its five titles between 2013 and 2015, while Bates, Middlebury, and Trinity have won two titles each. The Bobcats won their championships 12 years apart in 2000 and 2012. Middlebury has claimed the last two NESCAC Championships and Trinity won back-to-back titles in 1988 and 1989. Colby won its lone NESCAC title in 1986.

Just four schools have won a NESCAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field title. Williams owns 25 crowns and has won the last six and 18 of the last 19 titles. The Jumbos have won four NESCAC titles, including three straight from 1986 to 1988 to go along with their most recent championship in 2013. Bowdoin and Middlebury have each won two championships in program history. The Panthers won titles in 1998 and 2000, while the Polar Bears won back-to-back crowns in 1992 and 1993.
