HADLEY, Mass. – For the first time since 2009 the Trinity Bantams are hosting the NESCAC Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships. The races are set for Sunday, October 31 at Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut. The men’s race will begin at noon with the women’s race following at 1 p.m. Wickham Park charges an entrance fee of $10 per car and the park will close at 3:30 p.m. Additionally, any dogs must be leashed at all times.

2019 Championship Recap
In 2019, the last time the NESCAC Cross Country Championships were held, the Williams men and women swept the team titles on their home course at Mount Greylock Regional High School. The Williams men finished 1-3-5-6-7 for 22 points to capture the NESCAC title for the 18th time. Aidan Ryan won the individual race with a time of 25:27.3 and finished 14 seconds ahead of the second-place runner.
The Williams women captured their 17th NESCAC title with 58 points. Colby’s Sophia Gorman repeated as the individual champion, crossing the finish line in a time of 21:40.2, six seconds faster than the runner-up. Gorman became the first women’s runner to win back-to-back individual titles since Caroline Cretti of Williams achieve the feat in 2004 and 2005.
