Williams to Represent the NESCAC in NCAA Tournament

HADLEY, Mass. - Williams will represent the NESCAC in the upcoming NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Tournament. The Ephs are in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014 and third time overall.

Williams (20-4-3) will host Norwich (21-5-4) at Lansing Chapman Rink at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, marking the first time in program history the Ephs will host an NCAA Tournament game. Williams earned an automatic bid by virtue of winning its second NESCAC title. Norwich, the defending national champion, won the New England Hockey Conference title for the third straight year and ninth time overall. The Cadets are making their 10th NCAA appearance.

The Williams/Norwich winner will face the winner of the Plattsburgh State/Endicott game in the quarterfinals on Saturday, March 9. The semifinals and championship game are scheduled for March 15 and 16 at a site to be determined.
