Williams Leads After Day One of NESCAC Women's Golf Championship

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The defending champion Williams Ephs lead the 2016 NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship after one day of play at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College. The Ephs shot a 315 on day one of the six-team event, followed by Middlebury (319) and Amherst (325). Action resumes on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. with the final 18 holes of the tournament.

Middlebury first-year Chloe Levins led the field, carding a three-over-par 74 on Saturday. The Williams duo of senior Sophie Kitchen (76) and junior Elizabeth Gudas (78) followed, while junior Zoe Wong of Amherst rounded out the golfers breaking 80.
