    Amherst, Bowdoin and Tufts advanced to the sectional round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. Amherst will play Salisbury at 5 p.m. and Bowdoin will play Montclair State at 7 p.m. on Friday at Montclair State. Tufts will host Eastern Connecticut State 7 p.m. on Friday.

    Tufts sophomore guard Josie Lee stepped up as the Jumbos won their second straight title over the weekend after a starter was injured in the first half of the semifinal game against Williams. In the title game, she filled the stat sheet with a career-high 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals to earn NESCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
