Every Monday during the season, a NESCAC Player of the Week will be selected based on information submitted by the athletic communications offices at member institutions.
 
NESCAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Marco Perugini – Conn. College – Sr. – M – Medway, Mass.
Perugini led Conn. College to a season-opening 3-1 at Amherst, tallying three points. Perugini set up the opening goal, delivering a free kick into the box that found its way to senior Charlie Miles (Tarrytown, N.Y.) to give the Camels a 1-0 lead. Late in the second half, the Camels were awarded a penalty. Perugini stepped up and slotted the ball home to extend the Conn. College’s lead to 3-0. The win was the Camels’ first in Amherst since 2011.
 
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Junior Sam Davis (Bronx, N.Y.) scored his first goal of the season in a 3-1 season-opening defeat to Conn. College.
 
Bates – Sophomore Danny Burke (Holliston, Mass.) scored the first goal of his collegiate career at Williams. The midfielder tied the contest at 1-1 on a free kick in the 35th minute.
 
Bowdoin – In the Polar Bears’ season-opener against Salve Regina, junior Adam Prince (Wayland, Mass.) converted a penalty kick in the 82nd minute to level the match at 1-1, which turned out to be the final margin in the contest. Bowdoin outshot Salve, Regina 22-5 in the contest.
 
Colby – Jackson Magee (Brookline, Mass.) posted a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw against No. 7 Wheaton to open the 2026 campaign. The Lyons managed 10 shots, four on goal, but the junior netminder turned away all attempts to notch his first shutout of the season. 
 
Hamilton – Troy Miller (Marlborough, Conn.) scored both goals in the Continentals' 2-0 win against Utica, Hamilton's lone match of the week. Miller recorded the tallies in the 51st and 56th minutes. It was the junior's second career multi-goal match with the Continentals.
 
Middlebury – In Middlebury’s 4-0 victory over the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy to open the season, Colin Dugan (Avon, Conn.) tallied three points. The senior netted what proved to be the game-winning goal 12:10 into the first half via a strike from just outside the 18-yard box that sailed into the left portion of the net. Dugan also assisted on the second goal of the contest with a quick touch pass to teammate Will Sawin (Stonington, Conn.). The performance was his 11th multi-point game in a Panther uniform and his fifth game-winning tally. Dugan helped the Panthers extend their unbeaten streak in season openers to 12.
 
Trinity – Rookie Charles Desautels (Alexandria, Va.) fired home his first collegiate goal in the 42nd minute against the University of Hartford to lift the Bantams to a 1-0 victory.
 
Tufts – Nikola Antic, a graduate goalkeeper from Waltham, Massachusetts, stopped four shots and played the full 90 minutes in Tufts' season-opening NESCAC matchup to guide the Jumbos to a 2-0 victory over Trinity. Antic made a highlight save in the final minutes to claim his 25th career shutout. 
 
Wesleyan – Sophomore Ford Cash (Jupiter, Fla.) scored the game-winning goal in the 75th minute, sealing a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Springfield in the season-opener for the Cardinals. Cash headed home the goal late on to give Wesleyan the lead in a game the Cardinals had trailed 2-1. Cash also assisted with a long throw-in in the first half in what was the opening goal scored by Wesleyan in the contest. 
 
Williams – Junior forward Lorcan Mitchell (West Springfield, Mass.) led No. 10 Williams past Bates, 3-2, in the season-opener. Mitchell tallied his fifth career game-winning goal in the 60th minute, blasting a left-footed shot from the edge of the 18-yard box into the top left corner of the net.
