NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week
Rae Wartelle – Conn. College – Sr. – MB – Tacoma, Wash.
Wartelle registered season highs in both kills and blocks last week while leading the Camels to wins over Eastern Connecticut State and Trinity. The senior recorded 13 kills and a season-high seven total blocks in a five-set win over the Warriors. In a 3-1 win over the Bantams, she contributed a season- and match-high 16 kills while hitting .500.
 
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Raegan Lentz (Bethesda, Md.) racked up 29 kills over three matches in a 2-1 week for the Mammoths. The rookie hit .225 for the week and added seven digs and two block assists.
 
Bates – Nora Gilmer (Fairfax, Va.) notched six kills with a hitting percentage of .462 to go along with three digs and three blocks Friday against Tufts. The junior followed up by matching her season-high with nine kills, adding an assist, two digs, and two blocks in a 3-1 win over Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday. The Bobcats are 8-1, their best start to a season since 2019.
 
Colby – Haley Beigh (Rockledge, Fla.) spearheaded Colby’s undefeated 3–0 week, hitting a combined .359 across 10 sets with just three attacking errors. Her standout performance came in the NESCAC victory over rival Bowdoin, where she notched a team-high 10 kills on 17 swings with only two errors (.471 hitting percentage), adding a block and two digs to power the Mules past the Polar Bears in four sets. Beigh opened the week with a flawless 6-kill, .400 hitting effort against UMass Boston.
 
Hamilton – Kathryn Fox (College Station, Texas) posted 10 kills with just one error in 21 total attacks for a .429 hitting percentage in a four-set loss at Middlebury – the lone match of the week for the Continentals. Fox added three block assists and was second on the team with 11.5 points.
 
Middlebury – Natalie Stanford (Mill Valley, Calif.) was one of the catalysts in Middlebury’s sweep this weekend. The rookie recorded her fifth double-digit kill performance of the campaign with 11 and a .429 hitting percentage as the Panthers swept Skidmore. The first-year also matched her career high with four blocks against the Thoroughbreds. Stanford closed the week with eight kills, four digs, and four blocks to help propel Middlebury to a 3-1 triumph over Hamilton. She is second on the team in kills (117) and blocks (25.0). 
 
Trinity – Emma Ewart (San Diego, Calif.) finished the week with back-to-back double-doubles, logging 12 kills and 11 digs against Conn. College in a 3-1 loss to the Camels. Ewart hit .333 in the match with two service aces. The sophomore closed the week hitting for .280 with 10 kills and 14 digs in a 3-0 win over Johnson & Wales.
 
Tufts – Junior Maiwenn Kamdje (Wellesley, Mass.) had a strong week, helping Tufts post a 4-0 week. She averaged 3.08 kills per set, hitting .280 while tallying 37 kills for the week. She had a week-high of 11 kills in a win over Bates on Friday, adding nine kills against WPI, seven against UMass Boston, and 10 in a win over Wentworth. 
 
Wesleyan – Fiona LaCamera (Norton, Mass.) posted 11 kills and four total blocks in another undefeated 2-0 week for the Cardinals, who are 10-0 for the third time in five seasons. The senior started the week with four kills and three blocks in a three-set sweep at Hartford and followed with seven kills and one error on 15 attempts, hitting .400, in a three-set sweep at Amherst. LaCamera was the only Cardinal to hit over .300 in the win over the Mammoths, and she had three digs.
 
Williams – Kate Lane (Kentfield, Calif.) led Williams to a 2-1 week on the court, hitting .328 with a team-high 25 kills, 20 digs, and eight aces. In a 3-0 win over Russell Sage, the junior put away seven of her 10 attacks and served five aces, then added three more kills and aces in another 3-0 victory against Brockport. Lane produced 15 kills and a .282 attack percentage while collecting 12 digs for her third double-double this season in a grueling five-set loss at Cortland. This year, she has 109 kills, ranking seventh in the NESCAC.
