NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week
Brianna Hazak – Colby – So. – OH – Aurora, Colo.
Hazak led the Mules to wins over three ranked opponents at the Emory East/West Classic to open the 2026 season. The sophomore collected 39 kills, 33 digs, seven blocks, and 10 aces across the three matches, good for 53.5 points, all career-highs.  Against No. 16 WashU, Hazak had a match-high 17 kills in a five-set victory. The sophomore posted double-doubles against No. 18 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (12 kills, 15 digs) and No. 17 Emory (10 kills, 10 digs). Her six aces against CMS helped the Mules down the Athenas in four sets. After appearing in only two sets a year ago, Hazak sat out only 15 of the 517 plays last week.
 
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Rookie Raegan Lentz (Bethesda, Md.) helped the Mammoths to a 3-0 week, earning 3-0 wins over RIT and Plattsburgh State before topping UMass-Boston, 3-2, in a five-set thriller. Lentz compiled 32 kills over the three matches, hitting .259 for the week with 13 digs, two blocks, and an assist. In the win over UMass-Boston, Lentz had 17 kills, seven digs, one assist, and one block assist.
 
Bates – The Bobcats posted a 4-0 mark to start the season, the best start to a season for the Bates volleyball team since 2019. Anaïs Reneaum (San Diego, Calif.) leads the NESCAC with a .471hitting percentage and ranks ninth in blocks per set at 0.88. The junior started the week with nine kills and three blocks in a 3-0 win over Southern Maine and followed that up with a career-high nine blocks to go along with six kills in a thrilling 3-2 win over Endicott, as Bates fended off a pair of match points to prevail. Reneaum notched five kills with a .625 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win over Dean. The middle blocker capped the week with a season-high 10 kills and a season-best .692 hitting percentage, to go along with a pair of blocks, in a 3-2 win over Simmons, as the Bobcats rallied from down 2-0 to pick up the victory.
 
Conn. College – Sophomore Vibha Sheth (Austin, Texas) tallied 35 kills and hit .382 last week as the Camels went 2-2 in non-conference action. The sophomore supplied seven kills in Conn. College's five-set win at Salve Regina and added six kills in a 3-0 victory over Fitchburg State. Sheth led the Camels with a season-high 16 kills on 34 swings against Hartford in the final match of the week. 
 
Hamilton – Kathryn Fox (College Station, Texas) posted an attack percentage of .400 (18-4-35) with three blocks in three wins for the Continentals. Fox pounded 10 kills in a three-set sweep against Vermont State University Castleton at SUNY Delhi. It was a season high and the fifth time the senior recorded double-digit kills in a match at Hamilton.
 
Middlebury – Molly Harrison (Tiburon, Calif.) had a record-setting outing in a 3-1 week for Middlebury. The Panther logged 45 kills, 44 digs, and seven blocks. The senior’s best outing came in the final contest of the Skidmore Classic with 16 kills and 10 digs. During her 13-kill and 15-dig performance against Roger Williams, Harrison became the second player in program history to surpass 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs. She currently leads the NESCAC with 89 kills and 99.5 points heading into the squad’s opening conference weekend.
 
Trinity – Emma Ewart (San Diego, Calif.) Finished the week with 21 kills and 17 digs, including a double-double of 18 kills and 14 digs against Eastern Connecticut. The sophomore also added three kills and three assists in a sweep of Dean. Ewart finished the weekend with 24 points over a 3-0 week for the Bantams.
 
Tufts – Emma Heckman (San Diego, Calif.) helped Tufts to a 3-1 week, which included a 3-0 win over No. 2 Trinity (TX), and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Tufts Invitational. Heckman finished with 48 kills over the week, hitting .321 while posting 3.43 kills per set. She also added six aces, 15 digs, and five blocks. Heckman hit .474 on 19 attacks, finishing with 10 kills against Roger Williams in a three-set win. The senior posted 13 kills in the upset of Trinity, finishing with two aces. Heckman had 10 kills in a five-set loss to Salisbury and then led all Jumbos with 15 terminations in a four-set win over Bowdoin in the Tufts Invitational finale.  
 
Wesleyan – Senior Fiona LaCamera (Norton, Mass.) recorded 12 kills and just one attack error for a .458 attack percentage to go along with nine total blocks as Wesleyan played three matches and swept all three opponents to improve to 6-0 on the year. LaCamera posted six kills and four blocks in a sweep of Swarthmore on Friday before registering two kills, four digs, and one block in a sweep of WPI. She finished with four kills on six swings and four blocks in a sweep against Plymouth State. 
 
Williams – Sophomore Eve Kaplan (New York, N.Y.) earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Skidmore Classic last weekend, helping the Ephs finish 2-1 with wins over Oswego State and Roger Williams, while falling to St. John Fisher in five sets. Kaplan anchored the Williams defense, combining for 38 digs across the three matches while adding nine assists. In a five-set loss to Skidmore, Kaplan led the team with 20 digs and five assists. Kaplan finished the week with totals of 58 digs and 14 assists, providing a consistent defensive presence for Williams.
