Every Monday during the season, a NESCAC Player of the Week will be selected based on information submitted by the athletic communications offices at member institutions.
 
NESCAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Yousuf Saeed – Wesleyan – Sr. – M – Houston, Texas
Saeed has scored in all three games to start the season for the 3-0 Cardinals, who upset Tufts in a 2-0 home win on Wednesday, snapping the Jumbos' 23-game unbeaten run. Saeed scored the game-winning goal in the victory over Tufts in the 52nd minute. The senior also scored the go-ahead goal in a 5-2 home win versus Swarthmore on Saturday. His marker in the 53rd minute put the Cardinals up 2-1 in a game they trailed 1-0. 
 
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Wilder Judelson (Winter Park, Fla.) had two goals last week, a 1-0-1 week for the Mammoths. The sophomore scored once in a 2-0 win over Albertus Magnus and notched the opening goal in a 1-1 draw versus Bowdoin.
 
Bates – Junior goalkeeper George Nassar (Newtonville, Mass.) picked up a pair of shutouts last week, giving him 12 for his career at Bates. Nassar's 12 shutouts are tied for the second-most in Bates men's soccer history. He made one save in a 1-0 win over Saint Joseph's (ME) and two stops in a 0-0 draw with Hamilton.
 
Bowdoin – Rookie Patrick Brady (Washington, D.C.) netted two goals and an assist in an unbeaten week that saw Bowdoin defeat the University of New England, 3-1, on Tuesday before playing to a 1-1 draw at Amherst on Saturday. Brady netted the equalizer for the Polar Bears against the Mammoths.
 
Colby – Senior Theo Scott (Denver, Colo.) tallied Colby's game-winner in a 3-2 victory over Thomas College in a midweek contest. The defender's strike came in the 76th minute to secure the fifth consecutive win for the Mules over their cross-town rivals. 
 
Conn. College – First-year defender Jayden Fokuo (Chicago, Ill.) led Conn. College to a 1-1-0 week. On Tuesday against Emerson, Fokuo tallied the only goal of the game, the first of his career, to lift the Camels to a 1-0 win over the visiting Lions.
 
Hamilton – Finn Wheeler (Syracuse, N.Y.) made two saves in a 0-0 tie versus Bates. The shutout was the fifth of Wheeler’s career and the senior’s first since October 12, 2024. Oliver Mylon (Concord, Mass.) scored in the Continental’s 4-1 setback at Williams. The goal was the first for Mylon at Hamilton.
 
Middlebury – Will Sawin (Stonington, Conn.) was a catalyst for the Panther offense a 2-0week. The senior scored in the sixth minute and had a team-high five shots in a 6-0 victory over Endicott. In Middlebury’s conference opener against No. 9 Conn. College, the forward netted a key insurance goal that helped Middlebury seal a 3-0 upset of the Camels. Sawin is tied for the team lead in goals (3) through three contests.
 
Tufts – Tufts registered a 1-1 record on the week in two NESCAC matchups against Wesleyan and Colby. Sophomore Alex Johnson (Kinnelon, NJ.) played the full 90 minutes on defense in a 2-0 road loss to the Cardinals on Wednesday and scored the game-winning header in the 83rd minute to give Tufts a 2-1 victory over the Mules on Saturday.
 
Williams – Forward Lorcan Mitchell (West Springfield, Mass.) scored a pair of game-winning goals to contribute to a 2-0 NESCAC week for the Ephs. Mitchell has three goals in 2026 and seven in his collegiate career. The junior buried the game-winning tally in the 25th minute in a 4-1 win against Hamilton Tuesday afternoon at Cole Field and netted the game-winner in the 66th minute in a 2-1 comeback victory at Trinity on Saturday.
