HADLEY, Mass. - A total of 120 NESCAC student-athletes from all 11 institutions have earned a spot on the 2026 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic performance.
To be nominated, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their institution. A limit of six nominations per school is set. For ice hockey and lacrosse, nominees must have competed in 90 percent of the team's total games played or have started 66 percent of the team's total games. In golf, nominees must have competed in 75 percent of an institution's team scoring events or be in the lineup at the conference championship tournament.
The Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams, student-athletes from the following sports are eligible - Men's Fencing, Men's Golf, Men's Gymnastics, Men's Ice Hockey, Men's Lacrosse, Men's Rifle, Men's Skiing, Men's Volleyball, Men's Water Polo and Men's Wrestling. The Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Teams, student-athletes from the following sports are eligible - Women's Beach Volleyball, Women's Bowling, Women's Fencing, Women's Field Hockey, Women's Golf, Women's Gymnastics, Women's Ice Hockey, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Rifle, Women's Rowing, Women's Skiing, Women's Water Polo and Women's Wrestling.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes Women's At-Large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Select Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on July 7-8.
