Why did you choose to be a Division III student-athlete?
I knew I wanted to keep playing competitive softball, but I also knew I was ready for a more challenging academic schedule. Division III offers me the opportunity to explore all of my interests and work different on-campus jobs while still being able to compete on the field.
Is there anything special about your uniform number?
I wear #12 because my birthday is February 12. I also grew up watching Patriots games with my dad and was a huge Tom Brady fan when I was younger.

I love the combination of being able to work with my hands in lab and thinking through complex problems from multiple angles.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete?
I’ve learned to focus on controlling what I can control. It’s really easy to get caught up with so many things happening all at once, but just focusing on one thing at a time and having fun every moment on the field has let me enjoy and make the most out of my senior year.
Who has been the most influential person to you during your time in college?
