NESCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week
Natalie Stott – Amherst – Sr. – G – Franklin, Mass.
Stott stopped all 65 shots she faced over the NESCAC Semifinal and Championship games, leading Amherst to a repeat NESCAC title and the team’s third in four years. In a 1-0 win over Colby in the championship game, Stott made a season-high 39 saves, including 16 in the third period alone, to hold off the Mules. With the two wins, Stott broke an NCAA Division III record for goaltender victories in a career, pushing her total to 84. With the back-to-back shutouts, Stott extended her NCAA Division III record for career shutouts to 44. She currently leads Division III in goals against average (0.64), save percentage (.972), and shutouts (11).
