Men’s Basketball NESCAC Player of the Week
Zach Wolinski – Wesleyan – So. – G – North Andover, Mass.
Wolinski posted back-to-back career-high 30-point games over the weekend, leading the Cardinals to a pair of come-from-behind home wins over Bowdoin and Colby. Wolinski opened with his first career 30-point game, scoring 32 points, including 24 in the second half, to help Wesleyan erase a nine-point halftime deficit to defeat the Polar Bears. Against Colby, Wolinski netted 33 points (23 in the second half) as the Cardinals erased a four-point halftime deficit to finish the regular season undefeated at home. For the week, Wolinski averaged 32.5 points on 55.3 percent shooting, 61.5 percent from beyond the arc, and 83.3 percent from the line, grabbed 10 rebounds, handed out six assists, and registered a pair of steals and blocks. He scored 47 points in the second halves of the two games. 

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – In a win over Middlebury, Nate Pabis (Herndon, Va.) led the Mammoths with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor. The junior grabbed three rebounds and had one assist in the victory. 

Bates – Sean O'Leary (Franklin, Mass.) shot 11-for-18 from the floor on the week, tallying 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and a steal in an 81-73 win over Connecticut College on Friday. The sophomore tallied 10 points, four rebounds, and two assists on Sunday against No. 13 nationally ranked Tufts.

Bowdoin – Sophomore Ray Cuevas (Ipswich, Mass.) finished with a game-high 28 points on 11-for-17 shooting from the field in a Friday loss at Wesleyan. 

Colby – Sophomore Dan Civello (South Weymouth, Mass.) averaged 23.0 points per game against two of the top teams in the NESCAC.  Against No. 4 Trinity, the sophomore collected 27 points, and against No. 17 Wesleyan, he netted 19 points.  Civello accounted for 32 percent of Colby's points across the two games. 

Conn. College – Dylan Watson (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) netted a career-high 24 points and added nine rebounds in Conn. College's regular-season finale at Bates. The junior shot 6-for-10 from the floor and 12-for-13 from the line en route to the 24 points, which led all scorers in the contest.   

Hamilton – Senior Garret Keyhani (Hillsborough, Calif.) helped lead the Continentals to a season-ending 73-60 win at Middlebury by posting 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots. Keyhani scored a team-high nine points and added four boards in an 81-47 setback at Williams.

Middlebury – Junior Ian Murray (Kennebunkport, Maine) opened the final weekend of the regular season with 14 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Trinity – Jarrel Okorougo (Stoneham, Mass.) averaged 19.7 points, while shooting 58.1 percent from the field, with 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks to help power the Nol. 4-ranked Bantams to a 3-0 week, including a pair of NESCAC wins. The senior poured in 21 points with five rebounds, two assists, and two steals in a non-conference win over Anna Maria, followed by a double-double effort of 19 points and 10 rebounds in a NESCAC victory over Colby. Okorougo wrapped the week with 19 points and seven rebounds in the regular-season finale victory over Bowdoin.

Tufts - Senior forward Scott Gyimesi (Fair Haven, N.J.) helped the Jumbos clinch the No. 2 seed in the NESCAC Tournament, as he poured in 17 points while adding 12 rebounds in a 70-63 road win at Bates to hand the Bobcats their first home loss of the season. Gyimesi moved into No. 14 all-time at Tufts in scoring with his 1,268th point, including a bucket late in the game to put the Jumbos up for good to break a 61-61 tie. 

Williams – Matt DeVine (Wilbraham, Mass.) averaged 16.5 points per game and shot a combined 7-for-15 on 3-pointers (46.7%) during a 2-0 week for the Ephs. The junior scored a career-high 21 points, shooting 4-of-8 from long range, in an 81-47 win against Hamilton. DeVine followed up with 12 points, shooting 3-of-7 from 3-point range, in a 70-56 triumph over visiting Amherst on Saturday.
