NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Bates - Bates trailed 1-0 until the 88th minute of action last week in a 2-1 win over Husson. Sophomore Gwyn Jamison (Steamboat Springs, Colo.) sparked the comeback. A Husson foul set up a long free kick opportunity for Jamison. She launched a high twisting shot from 30 yards out that went over the keeper and into the back of the net for the equalizer. Less than 30 seconds later, the Bobcats pulled ahead for the first time. Jamison took possession and delivered a perfect through ball to senior Gabby Monaco (Pittsburgh, Pa.), who redirected the ball to junior Rachel Suh (Seattle, Wash.) for the go-ahead tally.

Bowdoin - Senior Rylie McLaren (Carlsbad, Calif.) and sophomore Kayley Huleatt (Rifton, N.Y.) each scored twice in a season-opening 7-1 win for the Polar Bears against Thomas last Wednesday.

Colby - Abigail Jarvi (Gilford, N.H.) scored a goal in each of Colby's games last weekend. The junior’s game-winning strike early in the second half led the Mules to a 1-0 opening day victory over Bowdoin on Saturday. On Sunday, Jarvi’s second goal in as many days was the equalizer in an eventual 1-1 tie at Emmanuel.

Connecticut College - Sophomore forward Blessing Kieh (Monrovia, Liberia) helped Conn. College post a 2-1 week to start the new campaign. In the season opener on Tuesday, Kieh headed home a corner in the 72nd minute to lift the Camels to a 2-1 win over Emmanuel.

MiddleburyOlivia Colby (Atlanta, Ga.) led Middlebury to a 3-0 opening week, posting a goal and three assists across a pair of triumphs. The Panther logged her first career goal and two helpers in a 7-0 victory over Plymouth State in the season opener before being credited with the lone assist on the game-winning goal in the 80th minute in a 1-0 triumph against Hamilton. Colby closed the weekend with another marker and helper in a 5-0 win against Vermont State University Castleton on Sunday. After one week of action, the rookie leads the NESCAC in assists (4) and points (8).
