NESCAC Player of the Week
Shane Regan – Wesleyan – Sr. – G – Larchmont, N.Y.
Regan carried Wesleyan past Amherst in the NESCAC Quarterfinal on Saturday, scoring a playoff career-high 27 points. Heading into halftime with seven points, Regan scored 20 of his 27 in the second half, including 12 straight Wesleyan points down the stretch. After the Cardinals went down 46-45 at the midway point of the second half, Regan went on to score 17 of Wesleyan's 21 points over the final 10:03 of play, including four straight free throw makes in the final minute of a one-possession game. 

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Bates – Brady Coyne (Falmouth, Maine) recorded the first double-double of his career on Friday when he tallied 19 points and a career-high 11 rebounds against Connecticut College. The junior followed up with 15 points and six rebounds Saturday at No. 14 ranked Tufts. Coyne shot 8-for-15 from 3-point range over the weekend, and his two free throws with 10 seconds remaining in regulation forced overtime against the Jumbos. 
 
Bowdoin – Senior James McGowan (Westwood, Mass.) scored 19 points with six rebounds on Friday evening as the Polar Bears lost to Wesleyan, 84-73.
 
Colby – Senior Jack Lawson (St. Louis, Mo.) became the 43rd player for the Colby men's basketball program to reach the 1,000-career point threshold Friday night against Trinity.  With career-highs this season in points, rebounds, and assists, the senior has played a large role in Colby's return to the NESCAC playoffs. 
 
Conn. College – Cam Schainfeld (Newton, Mass.) finished with nine points and five assists in a win over Bates on the final day of the regular season, helping the Camels clinch a berth in the NESCAC Championship. With his first basket of the game, the senior netted his 1,000th career point, becoming the 20th player in program history to reach the milestone. Schainfeld also moved into fourth place all-time on Conn. College's career assists list (284). 
 
Hamilton – Hank Morgan (Caldwell, N.J.) averaged 22.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two wins for the Continentals. Morgan started the weekend with 18 points, seven boards, three assists, and two steals in a 76-50 victory against Williams. The senior guard added 26 points and six rebounds in a 76-71 triumph against Middlebury. Morgan was 5-of-8 from 3-point range and went 7-for-8 at the free-throw line for the week. Hamilton defeated Middlebury and Williams in the same season for the first time since the 2011-12 season when Hamilton joined the NESCAC in basketball.
 
MiddleburySam Stevens (Mansfield, Mass.) capped his career ranked 13th on Middlebury’s all-time scoring list with 1,219 points. The Panther tied for the team lead with 15.9 points per game while grabbing 94 boards and dishing out 49 assists this season. 
 
TrinityJarrel Okorougo (Stoneham, Mass.) paced the Bantams to a pair of NESCAC victories, averaging 17.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game, as Trinity concluded the regular season earning the No. 2 seed in the NESCAC Men's Basketball Tournament. In an 88-78 victory at Colby, Okorougo came up just shy of a double-double with 12 points and a game-high nine rebounds, along with two steals and an assist. The junior followed with a game-high 22 points, shooting 10-of-13 from the floor, with a team-high seven rebounds and a steal at Bowdoin.
 
Tufts James Morakis (Dallas, Texas) helped No. 14 Tufts erase a 12-point second-half deficit to Bates on Saturday afternoon. The junior tallied 18 of his game-high 21 points in the second half and overtime. Morakis had a stretch during the last five minutes of the game where he scored all nine Tufts points to help force overtime and post an eventual 83-75 win. Morakis was 6-of-14 and 8-of-9 at the line, adding five rebounds and four assists. 
 
Williams – Aidan Yates (Charlottesville, Va.) averaged 12.5 points in a pair of NESCAC games last weekend for the Ephs. The rookie shot a combined 7-of-14 on 3-pointers. Yates finished with 17 points, shooting 5-for-8 from beyond the arc, at Amherst on Saturday.
