NESCAC Player of the Week
Brady Welsch – Williams – Jr. - F – Fond du Lac, Wis.
Welsch scored five goals in a 2-0-0 weekend for the Ephs. The junior scored a hat trick in a 5-3 win over Connecticut College on Friday and added two more markers, including the overtime game-winner on the power play, in a 4-3 triumph against visiting Tufts on Saturday.
 
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Vincent Lamberti (Los Angeles, Calif.) picked up his first collegiate shutout in his second start, making 28 saves in a 2-0 Amherst win over Trinity last week. The rookie had 15 saves in a 2-1 loss at Wesleyan on Saturday. 

Bowdoin – Sophomore Jake Minella (Darien, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal with 2:52 remaining in the third period to lift the Polar Bears to a 3-2 win at Colby on Saturday night. It was Bowdoin's first win at Colby since 2014.

Colby – Colby Browne (Evergreen, Colo.) scored a goal and an assist in the lone game for the Mules last week. Browne's goal opened the scoring of the Colby-Bowdoin hockey game midway through the first period, and his assist on the second gave the Mules a 2-1 lead early in the third.  

Conn. College - Sophomore forward Will Lawrence (Bethesda, Md.) led Conn. College with two goals and four blocked shots last weekend. On Friday night, with the Camels trailing 4-2 to Williams, Lawrence scored midway through the second period to cut the deficit to 4-3, while adding three blocks. On Saturday at Middlebury, Lawrence notched a short-handed goal while adding another blocked shot.

Hamilton – Devon de Vries (Saint-Lazare, Quebec) scored three goals in the Continentals' 2-0 weekend on the road in conference play. The junior gave Hamilton a 2-0 lead in the first period of its 6-1 win at Wesleyan and added two goals in a 4-3 overtime victory at Trinity. The multi-goal game was the first for de Vries, who tied the score at 1-1 and again at 2-2 in the second period. The second goal came with 3.3 seconds left.

MiddleburyAndrew Heinze (North Andover, Mass.) tallied a 2-0 week in net for the Panthers. In Friday’s contest against Tufts, the junior stonewalled 26 shots to earn his seventh career shutout in a 1-0 triumph. The Panther followed that up with a season-high 31 stops to help Middlebury to a 5-2 victory over Connecticut College. 

Tufts – Juniors Jonathan Horn (1G, 1A) (Southbury, Conn.) and Ethan Ullrick (2A) (Lakewood, Ill.) recorded multiple-point games in Tufts' 4-3 overtime loss at Williams on Saturday. Senior goalie Gustave Bylin (Montclair, N.J.) stopped 34 of the 35 shots he faced (.971 save %) in the Jumbos' 1-0 loss at Middlebury Friday night.

Wesleyan - In his first start of the season, sophomore Ethan Fehrenbaker (Scarsdale, N.Y.) made a career-high 39 saves as the Cardinals landed a 2-1 home win over Amherst on Saturday, defeating the Mammoths at home for the first time since 2021. Fehrenbaker made 30 consecutive saves, including 18 in the third period alone, to keep Amherst off the scoreboard and give the Cardinals their first home win of the season.
