One team plays in an NCAA Final Four on Friday, six soccer teams are in the Sweet 16 round on Saturday, four volleyball teams start NCAA play on Thursday, and a record number of cross country teams (12) qualified for the NCAA Championships.

Field Hockey | NCAA Bracket
Tufts advanced to the NCAA Final Four, which is being hosted by Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, on November 21 and 23. The Jumbos defeated Bates, 3-1, in the Elite 8 round and are making their seventh appearance in the national semifinal. Tufts will face the No. 1 seed Christopher Newport in Hartford in the first semifinal on Friday, November 21 at Noon.

Men’s Soccer | NCAA Bracket
Bowdoin, Conn. College, Tufts, and Williams advanced to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Tournament. The Jumbos will host Conn. College, Bowdoin, and Messiah this weekend with the winner of the four-team sectional advancing to the national semifinals. The Camels and Polar Bears square off in one Sweet 16 game at Tufts while the Jumbos host Messiah in the other game on Saturday, November 22. Williams travels to Minnesota to face St. Olaf in a Sweet 16 contest on Saturday. Macalester and Wheaton (MA) are the other teams in the Williams sectional pod.

Women’s Soccer | NCAA Bracket
Tufts and Middlebury advanced out of the first weekend of the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Tournament and will square off in a Sweet 16 game at South Street Field in Middlebury, Vermont on Saturday at 11 a.m. Mary Washington and Penn State Harrisburg meet in the other matchup of the sectional at 1:30 p.m.
Third Round Game
Four NESCAC teams - Colby, Tufts, Wesleyan, and Williams - were selected to the 2025 NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament field. The four teams selected match the most in conference history (last: 2021). The 64-team event begins on Thursday, November 20, with regional round action. Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois, will host the remaining rounds of the tournament December 3-6.
Tufts and Wesleyan were selected as regional hosts. The Jumbos’ regional features the No. 1 seed East Texas Baptist University. Tufts will play Bridgewater State in its first match, while Wesleyan hosts NYU in its opening match. Colby travels to Middletown, Connecticut, as part of the Wesleyan regional where the Mules meet Marymount (VA) in their first match of the tournament. Williams is traveling to MIT and will face Franklin & Marshall to open NCAA play.
