Every Monday during the season, one NESCAC Player of the Week will be selected based on information submitted by the athletic communications offices at member institutions.

NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week
Siena Steines – Wesleyan – So. – Outside Hitter - Hinsdale, Ill.
In Saturday’s four-set win over Bates in the NESCAC Quarterfinals, Steines totaled 17 kills on 39 attempts with 11 digs and three total blocks. Steines hit .308 in the match and had six kills in the fourth set alone, which the Cardinals won 25-11 to clinch the win and spot in the NESCAC Semifinals for the eighth straight season. Wesleyan will host the remaining rounds of the NESCAC Tournament on November 14 and 15 at Silloway Gymnasium.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Bates – Ellie Asada (Honolulu, Hawaii) capped off her Bates career with 21 digs at Wesleyan in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. The senior also dished out five assists and recorded a pair of service aces as the Bobcats wrapped up their season with an overall record of 12-10, their best since 2019. Asada finishes her career with 1,060 digs, 144 service aces, and 232 assists. She ranks second in the NESCAC at 4.48 digs per set this season.

Colby – Sophomore Cyanne Jones (Pasadena, Calif.) led Colby past Conn. College in the NESCAC Quarterfinals and into the conference semifinals in back-to-back years for the first time in program history. The middle blocker had six blocks, six digs, five kills, and three service aces. 
 
Conn. College – Grace Anderson (Pawling, N.Y.) paced the Camels with five kills and a block against second-seeded Colby last week in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Championship. The sophomore right side hitter finished the season with a career-best 184 kills over 83 sets.

Middlebury – Junior Molly Harrison (Tiburon, Calif.) led the Panther attack with 11 kills and 13 digs in their NESCAC Quarterfinal matchup against Williams. The performance was her 12th double-double of the year and 45th as a member of the navy and white.

Tufts - Setter Rianna Liu (Foster City, Calif.) was instrumental in Tufts’ 3-0 win over Bowdoin in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. The junior finished with team-highs of 21 assists and 15 digs, which marked her eighth double-double of the season.

Williams – Senior captain Annaliese Fricke (Colorado Springs, Colo.) posted her best match of the season to date with a 17-kill performance to help the third-seeded Ephs to a 3-1 win over sixth-seeded Middlebury in the NESCAC Quarterfinals.
