NESCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Matt Fitzsimons – Wesleyan – Jr. – QB – Somers. N.Y.
Fitzsimons completed 20-of-23 passes for 365 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-14 home win over the Continentals. Fitzsimons completed 13 straight passes during the game while six different Cardinals caught at least one pass. The five passing touchdowns represents the most by a Cardinal quarterback since 2016 while the 365 yards represented his first career 300-yard passing game in what was just his third career start for Wesleyan.
NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Ameer White – Colby – So. – CB – Rye, N.Y.
White had an interception, a forced fumble, and two pass breakups in Colby's overtime win at Bates. His third interception of the season came late in the second quarter at Colby's 25-yard line to preserve a 3-3 tie at the break. White stopped another Bobcat drive early in the fourth quarter with a forced fumble, again at Colby's 25-yard line, setting up the final game-tying drive. In overtime, White broke up a pass in the end zone on 2nd and goal, helping the Mules win the first leg of the CBB.
NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Will Schneider – Colby – Fy. – K – New York, N.Y.
Schneider accounted for seven of Colby’s 13 points in the overtime win against Colby. The rookie converted two field goals and an extra point in the contest. The first-year opened the scoring late in the first quarter connecting for a 29-yard field goal on Colby's second possession, and his 27-yarder with 29 seconds to play tied the game at 6-6 to force overtime.

Amherst –
Christian Moore (Renton, Wash.) led the Mammoths with eight receptions for 86 yards in a 27-17 win over Middlebury Saturday. The junior posted career-highs in both receptions and yards … Senior

Hudson Fulcher-Melendy (Easthampton, Mass.) had a perfect Saturday going 2-for-2 in field goal attempts and 3-for-3 in point after attempts in a 27-17 win at Middlebury. His first field goal of 36 yards was a career-high for the sophomore.
Bates –
Ryan Rozich (Cromwell, Conn.) matched his career-high with 14 total tackles on Saturday against Colby, including seven solo stops. The junior recorded one sack and two tackles for loss. Rozich anchored a Bates defense that did not surrender a touchdown in regulation and only allowed the Mules to gain 195 yards of total offense …
Marcos Ruiz (Haskell, N.J.) stood out at placekicker on Saturday against Colby, making a pair of field goals. The junior’s career-long 41-yard field goal with 10:10 left in the second quarter tied the game at 3-3 and his 38-yard field goal with 1:04 left in the third quarter gave Bates the lead. Ruiz's 41-yard field goal is the longest one made by a Bobcat kicker since 2017.
Bowdoin - Sophomore quarterback
Peter Macauley (San Anselmo, Calif.) threw for 168 yards, a touchdown, and rushed for 84 yards in Saturday’s loss to Williams. Polar Bear sophomore
Abe Herzog (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had six tackles, including two for a loss, and a forced fumble against the Ephs.
Colby -
Miles Drake (Darien, Conn.) guided the Mules on a 20-play, 67-yard drive in the fourth quarter to tie the game with 29 seconds to play and force overtime. Drake converted five first downs on the game-tying drive, including two fourth down conversions. In overtime, Drake connected for the winning score rolling right and finding his tight end in the end zone. In the fourth quarter and overtime the senior signal caller accounted for 71 yards, completing six passes for 55 yards and a score, and running three times for 16 yards.
Hamilton –
Connor Laverty (Bernardsville, N.J.) ran 39 yards and scored the sophomore's first touchdown with the Continentals’ setback at Wesleyan.
Middlebury -
Brian Moran (Richmond, Va.) tied his career high with 25 completions and a season-best 286 yards through the air against Amherst. The quarterback added two touchdown passes versus the Mammoths and moved into eighth place in career passing yards with 3,118. Moran sits second in the conference in total passing yards (963) and passing yards per contest with 240.8 …
Matt Shaw (Gloucester, Mass.) paced the Middlebury defensive unit against the Mammoths. The linebacker set a career-high with 13 total tackles and tied for the team lead with five solo stops. Tony Wang (Ladera Ranch, Calif.) continued his solid season as the Panthers' kicker, tallying five points against Amherst. Wang connected on a 28-yard field goal to put the squad on the board with nine minutes to go in the second quarter and added two PATs in the fourth quarter. The Panther also added three touchbacks in kickoff duties for Middlebury.
Trinity – Nolan O'Brien (Sudbury, Mass.) paced the Bantams offense with a game-high seven receptions for a game-high 106 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-14 victory over Tufts. O'Brien opened the Bantams scoring with a 12-yard touchdown reception to give Trinity a 7-0 lead, and followed with a career-long 80-yard touchdown to extend the Bantams lead to 14-0 in the first quarter. Ethan Krauss (Somers, N.Y.) anchored the Bantam defense in a 41-14 win over Tufts, collecting a team-high 10 tackles, including six solo stops, with a tackle for loss, and a pass break up.
Tufts - Wide receiver
Matt Greco (Larkspur, Calif.) posted a career-high seven catches for 54 yards against Trinity on Saturday. The seven catches matched the junior’s season total while the 54 yards receiving also were a career best … Junior linebacker
Johnny Ferrelli (Tampa, Fla.) had a season-high 12 tackles against the Bantams, including eight solo stops and one tackle for loss … Junior punter
Andrew Leigh (Brookline, Mass.) averaged 38.6 yards per punt on his seven attempts, hitting a long of 46 while adding two punts inside the 20 yard line.
Wesleyan –
Dylan Connors (West Milford, N.J.) had a team-high six tackles, one pass breakup, and his first interception of the season which he returned 47 yards down the field and led to a Wesleyan touchdown in the second quarter. Connors played a key role in the Cardinals' defensive unit as Wesleyan led 42-0 at one point.
Williams –
Jon Oris (Otis, Mass.) posted 144 rushing yards on 13 runs (11.1 yards average), including a long of 42 yards and one touchdown. The senior running back carried a would-be tackler into the end zone for a 17 yard touchdown on the Ephs’ first offensive drive … Sophomore
