NESCAC Men's Soccer Weekly Release - Oct. 27, 2025

Every Monday during the season, one NESCAC Player of the Week will be selected based on information submitted by the athletic communications offices at member institutions.

NESCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week 
Will Sawin – Middlebury - Jr. – Forward – Stonington, Conn.
Sawin excelled in a 2-0 week for the Panthers. In the team’s final non-conference game of the year against Vassar, Sawin netted goals in the 10th and 90th minutes to help seal a 4-2 victory. The forward continued his strong week in a crucial conference matchup with Bates, tallying the primary assists on both goals to help keep Middlebury's postseason hopes alive in a 2-0 victory. Sawin leads the team with five goals and 14 points.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Bates – George Nassar (Newtonville, Mass.) matched his season-high with six saves Saturday at Middlebury. The sophomore ranks second in the NESCAC with 3.38 saves per match and fourth in goals against average at 0.621.

Bowdoin - First-year Max Cook (Chatham, N.J.) scored his first career goal in the 68th minute, lifting the Polar Bears to a crucial 1-0 win over Amherst on Saturday at Pickard Field. Cook finished off a series of passes from junior Kamar Burris-Khan (Newton, Mass.) and senior Tyler Huck (Ross, Calif.) to put home the game-winning tally. 

Colby – Chase Dolinko (Menlo Park, Calif.) scored in the 85th minute against No. 21 Wesleyan to help Colby earn a 1-1 draw. It was the second time in as many games that the Mules scored in the final minutes to record a tie and earn valuable conference points. 

Conn. College - Junior midfield Marco Perugini (Medway, Mass.) continued his strong second half of the season in Conn. College's only game of the week against Williams on Saturday. With the game scoreless early in the second half, Perugini tucked home a shot to give the Camels a 1-0 victory.

Hamilton – In a 2-0 week for the Continentals, senior Aedan Burke (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) scored in the 83rd minute and lifted the Continentals to a 1-0 win against Trinity. It was Burke's first goal this season. Peter Montesano Scheibe (Groton, Mass.) made six saves and kept the junior's fourth clean sheet this season. Sophomore Zach Tracy (Norwich, Vt.) found the back of the net with 1.9 seconds left in the second half of Hamilton's 2-1 victory at Utica.

Tufts Henry Perkins (Wooster, Ohio) helped the Tufts men's soccer team post a 6-0 win over Emerson on Saturday on Senior Day. Perkins posted three assists which was the most for a single game since at least 2000. The senior is second on the team in assists with five, while his 11 points are tied for the second most on the squad. 

Wesleyan – Senior Will Martin's (Washington, D.C.) first goal of the season proved vital in a 1-1 tie on the road against Colby. Martin's goal came in the 71st minute and secured a result that kept the Cardinals in a top four position the league standings. 

Williams – Sophomore goalkeeper Kai Darrell (Manhattan, N.Y.) made three saves and only allowed one goal against as the ninth-ranked Ephs faced Connecticut College on Saturday.
