NESCAC Cross Country Runners of the Week
Men's Cross Country
Seamus McDonough – Bowdoin – Jr. – Homer, Alaska
At the NEICAAA Championships at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds in Hopkinton, N.H., McDonough was the top Division III runner, covering the 8K course in a time of 24:33.64 to place 10th out of 267 runners from all NCAA divisions. The Polar Bears finished 11th overall (second among NCAA Division III teams) in the team standings.
Women’s Cross Country
Taylor Harris – Hamilton – Sr. – New York, N.Y.
Harris led the Continentals to a dominant win at the Hamilton Invitational. The senior finished second out of 44 runners with a personal-best time of 18:25.3 on the 5K course. Hamilton placed seven runners in the top 10 to record 23 points, 54 points ahead of the rest of the field.
