NESCAC Football Co-Offensive Players of the Week
Ryan Lynksey – Bates – So. – RB – Cranford, N.J.
Lynksey carried the ball 23 times for a career-high 121 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as Bates football won 24-13 at Wesleyan. Lynskey averaged 5.3 yards per carry and his touchdown runs went for 24 and 59 yards, respectively. Through three games, Lynskey leads the NESCAC in rushing, averaging 100.3 rushing yards per game, which is 31.6 rushing yards per game more than the next-best running back in the conference to date. The Bobcats handed Wesleyan its first loss of the season and the victory was the Bobcats’ first over the Cardinals since 2005 and the first time Bates defeated Wesleyan in Middletown, Conn. since 1981.
Nolan O’Brien – Trinity – Jr. – WR – Boston, Mass.
O’Brien was an offensive force for the Bantams in their 45-14 victory over Williams. O'Brien recorded a career-high nine receptions for a career-high 212 yards and a career-high three touchdowns. Trailing 14-0, O'Brien scored the first of six unanswered touchdowns by the Bantams and added a career-long 62-yard touchdown in the third quarter to help seal the victory. O'Brien registered the fourth 200-yard receiving game in program history.
NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Koy Price – Bowdoin – Sr. – LB – Norwalk, Conn.
Price made several dynamic plays all over the field Saturday as the Polar Bears defeated Hamilton, 28-21. Price had an interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter to give Bowdoin its first lead of the game. The linebacker had 2.5 tackles for loss, including two sacks in huge situations. With Bowdoin regaining a 28-21 advantage in the third quarter, Price made a third-down sack that forced Hamilton to punt on the next possession. On Hamilton's final drive of the game, Price snuffed out a comeback attempt with a sack for a loss of 12 yards, clinching the game for Bowdoin.
NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Marcos Ruiz – Bates – So. – K/P – Haskell, N.J.
Ruiz matched his career-long with a 38-yard field goal that gave Bates an 11-point lead with 1:50 left in the contest to help the Bobcats seal the win over the Cardinals. Ruiz also made all three PAT attempts and handled kickoff duties.

Amherst – Junior
Kevin Agnew (Chatham, N.J.) led the Mammoths with seven tackles, four solo, and a fumble recovery in the 25-0 loss at Tufts Saturday.
Bates – Sophomore
Ryan Rozich (Cromwell, Conn.) was a key part of a Bates defense that held Wesleyan to a season-low 95 rushing yards in Saturday's 24-13 win over the Cardinals in Middletown. The linebacker made seven total tackles, including three solo stops and a tackle for loss, and had a QB hurry. Rozich's pass break-up of a fourth down try for Wesleyan on a pass over the middle sealed the first win for Bates in Middletown since 1981. The sophomore leads the Bobcats with 26 total tackles this season, which ranks third In the NESCAC.
Bowdoin – Senior
Robbie Long (Dunstable, Mass.) threw for a career-high 273 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday as the Polar Bears defeated Hamilton, 28-21. Long went 17-for-29 through the air and connected for touchdown passes of 27, 37, and 14 yards. Colby - Two weeks after senior
Duke Ferrara (Wellesley, Mass.) set new marks in receiving, the senior set a career-high with 10 receptions against Middlebury on Saturday. Two of his catches were good for first downs. Ferrara ranks third in the NESCAC in receptions with 21 and sixth in receiving yards with 210 …
Jack Mullen (Trumbull, Conn.) led the defensive attack for Colby at Middlebury with career-highs in tackles (6) and sacks (2.5) from his defensive end position. Two of his sacks came on back-to-back plays early in the third quarter with the game deadlocked at 10 and accounted for a loss of 18 yards. Two of his solo tackles were made for no gain …
Declan McNamara (Ridgefield, Conn.) saw his first action of his collegiate career as a punter on Saturday, punting seven times for 229 yards. McNamara’s longest went for 42 yards and he pinned the Panthers inside their 20 once. The junior also ran for 27 yards and a score and completed four passes for 54 yards. McNamara has converted a score, either passing or rushing, in each of the first three games.
Hamilton –
Lucas Perez-Segnini (Rye, N.Y.) caught seven passes for a career-high 110 yards and a touchdown in a loss at Bowdoin. The score was the senior's first this season …
Aidan Held (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was credited with the first two sacks this season by the Continentals in a loss at Bowdoin. The sacks went for a total loss of 11 yards, and Held has seven in the senior's Hamilton career … Senior
Tighe Hoey (New Canaan, Conn.) averaged 45 yards on four punts including one that traveled 70 yards in a loss at Bowdoin. Three of Hoey's punts landed inside the Bowdoin 20-yard line.
Middlebury –

Tomás Kenary (Chevy Chase, Md.) helped lead Middlebury to a 24-16 win over Colby on Saturday with a school record performance. With 2.0 tackles for a loss of 10 yards, Kenary became the program record holder with 42.5 TFL in his career. The previous mark of 41.5 TFL was set back in 2006. Kenary also had 1.5 sacks for a loss of nine yards, a trio of tackles, and a pass breakup during the triumph. The senior added to his other three school records, increasing his career marks in sacks (26.5), yards from sacks (201), and TFL yards (232) …
Ty Brinkmann (Brentwood, Tenn.) recorded 471 yards punting, which ranks second all-time in the Middlebury record books and is the most in a game in the NESCAC this season. Brinkmann dropped four of his 11 punts inside the 20, while recording a long of 58 yards.
Trinity –
Charlie Cooper (Sarasota, Fla.) registered the Bantams' first pick-6 in nearly two years to even the score at 14-14 in Trinity's 45-14 victory over Williams. Cooper added five tackles in the win.
Tufts -
Michael Berluti (Weston, Mass.) led Tufts to a 25-0 win over Amherst on Saturday. The senior recorded three total touchdowns including two on the ground in the victory. Berluti finished 18-for-29 for 230 yards passing and one touchdown while adding 59 yards rushing and two more scores. The quarterback gave Tufts a 10-0 lead with a five-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter and then busted a 25-yard rushing touchdown to make the score 18-0. Berluti connected with Cade Moore for a 20-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter to close out the scoring in the game … Senior
Will Duncanson (Manlius, N.Y.) helped Tufts blank Amherst 25-0 on Saturday. The senior finished the game with four total tackles, 0.5 sacks for four yards, and two interceptions. Duncanson led a defense that allowed 118 total yards while forcing seven 3-and-outs. The linebacker's first of two picks came on the first drive of the game for Amherst, and he picked off a pass in the third quarter to snuff out a Mammoth drive …
Vaughn Seelicke (Little Rock, Ark.) contributed five points kicking for the Jumbos against the Mammoths. The junior connected for his seventh field goal in three games, nailing a 30-yard field goal for the first points of the game for Tufts on Saturday. Seelicke also added a pair of extra points. He leads all NESCAC players with 25 points this year.
Williams –
Jon Oris (Cheshire, Conn.) rushed 12 times for 58 yards and one touchdown at Trinity Saturday. The junior opened the scoring with a 2-yard touchdown run with 8:59 remaining in the first quarter … Sophomore

Ivan Shuran (Medina, Ohio) went 2-for-2 on PATs at Trinity. The senior also had three kickoffs for a total of 179 yards, averaging 59.7 yards per kickoff, to go along with two touchbacks.
