Amherst – Rookie Caroline Busler (Greenwich, Conn.) scored two goals last week, the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Trinity, the Mammoths' first victory over the Bantams since 2015, and the game-tying goal in the NESCAC Quarterfinal at Tufts. Busler's tying goal came with 13 seconds remaining in the contest. The Mammoths eventually fell to Tufts in a shootout, 2-1 (3-0). Then, when the game went to a shootout tied at 1-1, the senior tallied two of the three successful attempts for the Bobcats, including the game-winner, as Bates prevailed 3-2 to advance to the NESCAC Semifinals for the second straight season. Earlier in the week, Lindeis played a critical role in the midfield in a 6-2 win over Colby.
