NESCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Miles Drake – Colby – Jr. – QB – Darien, Conn.
Drake had a career night behind center with 335 yards of total offense. The junior quarterback completed 21-of-24 passes (87.5 completion percentage) for 225 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing 11 times for 110 yards en route to leading Colby to a two-point victory over Bates. Drake accounted for seven first downs with his arm and another six with his legs. Drake’s second touchdown, a 41-yard scoring strike on 3rd-and-14 early in the fourth quarter, capped a 12-play 99-yard drive that put the Mules ahead 21-20.

NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Dylan Connors – Wesleyan – Jr. – DB – West Milford, N.J.
Connors helped the Cardinal defense limit Hamilton to just seven points in the first quarter and held the Continentals scoreless for the final 51+ minutes of play. Connors racked up nine tackles (7 solo) to lead the team including two tackles for loss for 13 yards, one sack for nine yards, and two pass breakups.

NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Zach Levy – Middlebury – So. – K – Arvada, Colo.
Levy scored nine points in Middlebury’s 29-21 victory over Amherst. The sophomore kicker recorded three extra points and ranks third in the NESCAC with 11 this year. Levey also converted a pair of field goals and moved into fourth place on Middlebury’s list with 17 in his career.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Sam Gerber (Wayne, Pa.) made six receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown in Amherst's 29-21 loss to Middlebury Saturday. The junior’s 15-yard scoring reception with 2:34 left in the game made the score 27-21 … Phil Slaughter (Charlotte, N.C.) made four tackles, three solo, two for loss, and had one sack versus the Panthers.
 
Bates – Despite being listed as a wide receiver, Sergio Beltran (East Palo Alto, Calif.) showed off his rushing ability Saturday at Colby, carrying the ball 11 times for a career-high 102 yards and a touchdown against the Mules. The junior also caught a team-high three passes for 21 yards. Beltran's longest run of the game was a 41-yard sprint to the Colby 10, setting up a Bates touchdown that tied the game at seven in the first quarter. Later, Beltran ran the ball in from nine yards out to give Bates a 20-14 lead early in the third quarter … First-year safety Michael Spencer (Mansfield, Texas) tallied a career-high 10 tackles, including a career-high seven solo stops, against the Mules and notched his first tackle for loss of the season.
 
Bowdoin – Senior wideout Jed Hoggard (Acton, Mass.) had five receptions for 94 yards and a score against Williams ... For the second straight week, senior Koy Price (Norwalk, Conn.) scored a touchdown for the Polar Bears, this time scooping a fumble and returning it 15 yards against the Ephs. Price, a linebacker, has accounted for 14 points this season (two defensive touchdowns, safety).

Colby - Sebastien Romain (Hudson, Mass.) set a new career mark with nine tackles for Colby as the Mules halted the Bates rushing attack in a 28-26 win. The junior ranks fourth in the NESCAC in tackles and is five tackles off the league leader after four games … Christos Tzoumakas (Birmingham, Mich.) went 4-for-4 on PATs in Colby’s victory over Bates. The sophomore also handled Colby's punts, one in the third quarter and one in the fourth, as the battle of field position lasted the duration of the game.
 
Hamilton – Ezra Lombardi (Danvers, Mass.) scored on a 51-yard catch-and-run in a 19-7 loss against Wesleyan. The touchdown catch is the fifth of Lombardi's career and the 51-yard reception is the longest for the senior with the Continentals … Senior Tighe Hoey (New Canaan, Conn.) averaged 49.6 yards on seven punts in a 19-7 loss to Wesleyan. Five of Hoey's punts landed inside the Wesleyan 20-yard line and four were longer than 50 yards, including a 60-yarder that was downed at the one.
 
Middlebury – Junior Brian Moran (Richmond, Va.) helped lead Middlebury to a 29-21 victory at Amherst on Saturday. The quarterback completed 22-of-38 passes, with 233 yards through the air. Moran recorded a career-high three touchdowns in the win and had a long pass of 37 yards which eventually resulted in the first score of the game … Senior Dave Filias (Lynn, Mass.) had six tackles and one sack for a loss of eight yards to help the Panthers hold off the Mammoths. Filias ranks fourth all-time in career sacks (15.5) and TFL yardage (118), while his four sacks this season are tied for second in the conference …
 
 Trinity – Zander Zebrowski (Verona, N.J.) helped orchestrate the Bantams offense to a 42-24 road victory at Tufts. Zebrowski completed 24-of-28 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns. Zebrowski added 67 yards on the ground with a score. Zebrowski leads the NESCAC in completion percentage (79.0), passing yards (1160), passing touchdowns (10), passing yards per game (290.), and efficiency rating (188.6) … Junior Jason Irizarry (New Rochelle, N.Y.) led the Bantams defense with a team-high six tackles in the victory at Tufts. Irizarry added a forced fumble in the second quarter that led to a Trinity touchdown that gave the Bantams their first lead of the game, 14-10.
 
Tufts - Quarterback Michael Berluti (Weston, Mass.) had his best statistical game of the 2024 season on Saturday against Trinity. The senior went 21-for-33 for 278 yards and three touchdown passes. Berluti connected on scoring strikes of 34 yards and five yards to senior wide receiver Cade Moore (The Woodlands, Texas) while hitting senior tight end Jack Elliott (Holliston, Mass.) for a 21-yard touchdown score … Jeff Xu (San Jose, Calif.) had a career game for the Jumbos, as the junior linebacker had 10 total tackles (4 solo) which included two tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery in the first half which led to a Tufts touchdown pass.
 
Wesleyan – Senior Chase Wilson (Lake Charles, La.) was outstanding for the Cardinals all afternoon, leading the team with eight catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns as Wesleyan came from behind scoring 19 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to defeat Hamilton 19-7 on the road. Wilson did the bulk of his receiving work in the first half, including a 45-yard catch, but both of his scores came in the fourth quarter during the comeback as the Cardinals improved to 3-1 on the season. Wilson leads the NESCAC in receiving yards (468), touchdowns (five), yards per catch (26), and yards per game (117) …
 
Williams – Mario Fischetti (Glen Head, N.Y.) rushed nine times for 177 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-14 victory over Bowdoin. The senior had touchdown runs of 68 and 80 yards, respectively … Sophomore Holden Gering (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) had two interceptions, four solo tackles, and broke up one pass in the Ephs’ 34-14 triumph over Bowdoin … Leonardo Maiuolo (San Jose, Calif.) had five punts for a total of 223 yards and an average of 44.6 yards per punt in a 34-14 win over Bowdoin. The sophomore had one punt of 70 yards and placed one punt inside the 20-yard line.
