NESCAC Field Hockey Player of the Week
Kayleigh McDonald – Tufts – Sr. – M – Somerset, Mass.
McDonald scored both goals as Tufts knocked off previously undefeated Middlebury, 2-1, on Saturday. The win by the Jumbos ended Middlebury's 43-game winning streak which was one shy of the NCAA record. McDonald, Tufts' inserter on corners, scored twice on corners. The senior gave the Jumbos a 1-0 lead in the middle of the second quarter and scored the game-winner with 6:41 left in regulation. The goals were the first two of McDonald's career.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Molly Donegan (Wallingford, Conn.) had a goal in each game as the Mammoths went 2-0 last week and outscored their opponents 13-0. The junior notched the game-winning goal in a 6-0 win over Smith and added another tally when the Mammoths blanked conference foe Hamilton, 7-0. Donegan leads Amherst with six goals this season.
 
Bates Haley Dwight (West Newbury, Mass.) dished out her second assist of the season as the Bobcats edged Connecticut College, 1-0, on Saturday in New London, Conn. Dwight also recorded her team-leading fifth defensive save of the season, preserving the 1-0 lead in the 56th minute of action. The sophomore’s five defensive saves are tied for second-most in the NESCAC.
 
Bowdoin – Sophomore Emily Ferguson (Shrewsbury, Mass.) had two goals in a midweek win over Wellesley, and added a late game-tying goal against Wesleyan on Saturday, forcing overtime in an eventual 3-2 setback.
 
Colby – Lily Harrington (Westport, Conn.) helped the Mules erase two one-goal deficits in a come-from-behind 5-4 victory against Trinity. With Colby falling behind early in the third quarter, the junior tallied her third goal of the season to even the score at 3-3.  Trinity jumped ahead with less than 10 minutes to play, but Harrington struck again to knot the match, 4-4. Colby responded moments later with the game-winner, earning its third conference victory of the season to keep its playoff hopes alive.  

Connecticut College – Bridget McGann (West Hartford, Conn.) netted a pair of goals in NESCAC play last week, leading the Camels to a 1-1 record. McGann scored the final two goals in a 3-2 win over Trinity, giving Conn. College its first win over the Bantams since 2005. The junior moved into sixth place on the Camels’ career goals list with 27.
 
HamiltonMorgan Clarke (Kent, Conn.) is tied for third in the NESCAC in defensive saves after Clarke picked up the first year's fourth this season in a loss against Amherst.

Wesleyan – Senior Helen Deretchin (Circleville, N.Y.) scored the game-winning goal in overtime as Wesleyan defeated Bowdoin, 3-2, to record the Cardinals’ first road win over the Polar Bears since 1999. 

Williams – Senior Linda Bibeau (Danvers, Mass.) assisted on a first-quarter goal and scored a fourth-quarter goal in a 3-1 victory at No. 21 Swarthmore on Sunday.
