NESCAC Player of the Week
Henry Vetter - Trinity - So. - G/F - Kenilworth, Ill.
Vetter averaged 17.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in 24.0 minutes per game to help lead the Bantams to a pair of victories during the 2023 Trinity Holiday Invitational. In a 90-39 victory over Thomas, Vetter logged team-highs of 11 points and five assists with two rebounds and two blocks in 16 minutes of action. Vetter led all scorers with 23 points and a team-high six assists and five rebounds in an 89-75 win against Bridgewater State in the championship game. Trinity head coach James Cosgrove also picked up his 200th career win in the victory over Bridgewater State.
 
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Bates – The Bobcats return to action on January 2 versus Saint Joseph’s (ME).

Bowdoin - Senior Michael Simonds (Falmouth, Maine) scored a season-high 19 points with 10 rebounds as the Polar Bears took the consolation game of the Naismith Classic last weekend over Springfield, 72-67.

Colby – The Mules return to action on January 2 versus Maine Maritime.

Conn. College - Elias Espinosa (Leonia, N.J.) averaged 17.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game last week as the Camels went 1-1 at the Utica University Classic. The sophomore netted a game- and career-high 24 points and shot 6-for-12 from 3-point range in a win over RPI in the opening round of the tournament. The forward contributed 10 points, five boards, and three steals in the title game against the host Pioneers.
Hamilton - Hank Morgan (Caldwell, N.J.) averaged 18.5 points and 6.5 rebounds as the Continentals split two games in DeSales' Al Senavitis Memorial Tournament. Morgan posted team highs of 14 points and seven boards in an 89-70 win against Muhlenberg. The junior guard dropped in 23 points and grabbed six rebounds – both team highs – in a 72-62 setback against the hosts. Morgan finished the week 6-of-12 from 3-point range.

Middlebury – Senior Noah Osher (Northbrook, Ill.) led Middlebury in scoring in a 65-60 loss to Brandeis on Friday night. The guard poured in a game-high 20 points and pulled down a season-best seven rebounds. Osher also sank four 3-pointers and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line.

Wesleyan – Jackson Cormier (Houston, Texas) averaged 19.5 points on 65.2 percent shooting and 83.3 percent from 3-point range while adding 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals in 28.5 minutes per game. The sophomore started with a career-high 20 points (8-11 FG, 3-4 3FG), six rebounds, and four steals in just 23 minutes in a 109-83 win over Saint Joseph's (ME) and followed with 19 points (7-12 FG) against Eastern Connecticut State.

Williams – Cole Prowitt-Smith (Fairfield, Conn.) averaged 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game in a pair of games against Redlands and UC Santa Cruz last week. The senior shot a combined 7-of-11 from the field, 3-of-5 on 3-pointers, and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. Against UC Santa Cruz, the guard finished with 12 points, to go along with six rebounds and totaled eight points and six rebounds against Redlands.
