NESCAC Player of the Week
Hank Morgan – Hamilton – Jr. – G – Caldwell, N.J.
Morgan averaged 26.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in two wins. Morgan posted 26 points, seven boards, four assists, two steals, and a blocked shot in an 80-71 victory against Bates. The junior guard registered 26 points, four rebounds and three assists in an 87-82 triumph against Tufts. 
 
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Junior Bobby Sommers (Southborough, Mass.) scored a team-high 13 points in a win over Bates and added eight points and eight rebounds in a win over Tufts last week as the Mammoths went 2-0. Sommers averaged 10.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in the two victories.

Bates – Sophomore Elliott Cravitz (Denver, Colo.) shot 10-of-19 from long distance over three games last week for the Bobcats. Cravitz posted a 15-point effort on 4-of-6 shooting (4-for-4 from 3-point range) and added five rebounds on Friday at Hamilton. Cravitz is averaging nearly 10 points per game this year, second on the team, and is shooting 38 percent from 3-point range.

Bowdoin - Senior Michael Simonds (Falmouth, Maine) averaged 14.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Polar Bears against Middlebury and Williams last weekend.

Colby – Jack Lawson (St. Louis, Mo.) led Colby in scoring and rebounds last weekend averaging 15.0 points and 7.0 rebounds across two NESCAC games.  The junior currently ranks fifth in the conference in rebounds and 10th in scoring.  

Conn. College – Senior David Murray (Jackson Heights, N.Y.) averaged 16.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game last week as the Camels went 1-1 in NESCAC action. Murray led the Camels with 16 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks in a win over Wesleyan, marking Conn's first in the series since 2011. Earlier in the week the center recorded his team-leading seventh double-double with 16 points and 10 boards at Trinity. Murray shot 66.7 percent from the field for the week and averaged 33.5 minutes per game.

Middlebury – Senior Noah Osher (Northbrook, Ill.) averaged 23.5 points per game while shooting 60 percent from the field in two NESCAC victories last weekend, leading the team in scoring in both contests. On Friday, with 24 points in a win over Colby, Osher became Middlebury’s 27th player to eclipse the 1,000-career points mark and is 23rd all-time with 1,025. Osher added 23 points in a victory over Bowdoin and finished the weekend shooting 46 percent from 3-point range. The Panther has scored in double figures in six straight games and is tied for second among the NESCAC scoring leaders (17.9 PPG). 

Trinity – Sophomore guard Henry Vetter (Kenilworth, Ill.) led the Bantams with a team-high 18 points with eight rebounds in a 58-45 victory over Connecticut College in the only game of the week for the Bantams.

Wesleyan – Junior Shane Regan (Larchmont, N.Y.) pumped in a game-high 20 points with seven assists and no turnovers to go along with three rebounds in 39 minutes against Conn. College on Sunday.

Williams – Nate Karren (Sacramento, Calif.) averaged 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 blocks, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 assists per game as the Ephs posted a 2-0 record in versus conference opponents last weekend. Karren shot a combined 10-of-17 from the field and was 7-of-12 on 3-pointers. In a 68-45 win at Colby Friday evening, the senior finished with game-highs of 18 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks. The five blocks tied a career-high for Karren. The center went 6-for-9 from the field, 3-for-5 from 3-point range, and 3-for-4 from the foul line. Karren finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, four blocks, two steals and two assists in a 68-43 victory at Bowdoin Saturday.
