NESCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Keon Smart – Colby – Jr. – RB – Woodstock, Ga.
Entering Saturday's contest at Bates with 995 career yards, Smart eclipsed the 1,000-yard milestone with 255 yards from scrimmage. Smart recorded 137 rushing yards and 118 yards on six receptions. Smart's three touchdowns came via runs of 12 and 69 yards and a 75-yard reception. Smart's final score proved to be the game-winner in the 30-24 victory at Bates.
NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Wesley Abraham – Wesleyan – Jr. – CB – White Plains, N.Y.
Abraham recorded two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one tackle for loss as the Cardinal defense held Hamilton to 162 yards of total offense in a 35-14 win as Wesleyan improved to 3-0. Abraham has three interceptions in the last two games and leads the NESCAC with seven pass breakups through three games this season.
NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Zach Levy – Middlebury – Jr. – K – Arvada, Colo.
Levy contributed 10 points in the Panthers' 34-27 win over Bowdoin as Middlebury handed the Polar Bears their first loss of the season. Levy's point total ranks fourth on Middlebury's all-time single-game list. The junior was a perfect 4-for-4 in PATs and booted an insurance field goal late in the fourth to secure the victory. The kicker's second field goal was a career-long of 29 yards.

Bates – Senior
Steven Guerrette (Bow, N.H.) turned in the best performance of his career, catching nine passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns Saturday against Colby. A team captain, Guerrette notched career-highs in receptions (9), yards (102), and touchdowns (2) in the contest …
Matt Juneau (Wakefield, Mass.) tallied eight tackles, including four solo stops against the Mules. The junior also recorded two tackles for loss and a QB hurry in the contest. Juneau's eight tackles matched teammate Michael Spencer for the most on the team that night … Rookie
Marcos Ruiz (Haskell, N.J.) made his only field goal attempt (a 25-yarder) and converted all three of extra-point attempts versus Colby. Due to injury, Ruiz took over kickoff duties, kicking off five times for 274 yards.
Bowdoin – Senior quarterback
Andrew Boel (Wyckoff, N.J.) threw for the second-most yards in school history (417) with two passing touchdowns and scored one rushing touchdown at Middlebury on Saturday … Polar Bear senior linebacker
Dan Fiore (Hazlet, N.J.) made three solo tackles and a fourth-quarter interception against the Panthers … Bowdoin kicker/punter
Jotham Casey (Cheshire, Conn.) connected on two field goals, both coming in the second half, went 3-for-3 in PATs and averaged 41.0 yards per punt against Middlebury. Three of his four punts landed inside the Panther 20.
Colby – In Saturday's 30-24 victory over Bates,
Julian Young (Manalapan, N.J.) recorded his third consecutive game with at least 12 tackles this season. The NESCAC's leading tackler recovered a fumble on the Bobcats' opening drive and returned it 20 yards into the red zone to set up Colby's first score. Two of Young's 12 tackles were behind the line of scrimmage, giving the junior four TFLs on the season … After consecutive sacks pinned the Bobcats in their own end with 25 seconds to go in the first half,
Trevor Smith (Concord, N.H.) blocked the ensuing Bates punt. The kick was recovered by a teammate in the end zone to give Colby a 21-10 lead heading into halftime.
Hamilton –
Joseph Campanella (Hazlet, N.J.) caught three passes for a career-high 54 yards at Wesleyan. Campanella's 42-yard reception for a touchdown was the sophomore's second score for the Continentals …
Aidan Held (East Longmeadow, Mass.) had one of the Continentals' two sacks at Wesleyan. Held leads the team with 2.5 sacks this season … Rookie
Chester Boynton (Concord, Mass.) blocked a punt, recovered it, and returned it 36 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter at Wesleyan.
Middlebury –
Cole Kennon (Nashville, Tenn.) threw for 358 yards and recorded 387 total offensive yards, both ranking second most in the NESCAC this season, in Middlebury's 34-27 win over Bowdoin. Kennon had three touchdowns in the win over the Polar Bears while also recording the third-longest competition at 60 yards. The senior guided the Panthers to 506 total yards, which is the third most in the conference to date … With Middlebury leading by four late in the final frame,
Finn Muldoon (Bethesda, Md.) intercepted the ball in the endzone for a touchback, helping the Panthers secure a win over Bowdoin. The defensive back also had three tackles (two solo) in the fourth stanza alone and recorded eight total tackles for the game. Muldoon's interception was his second in as many weeks, moving him into fourth on Middlebury's all-time list with nine in his career. With five solo stops during the victory, the senior eclipsed the 100 career solo tackles mark (101).
Trinity –
Tyler DiNapoli (West Haven, Conn.) powered the Bantams' ground attack with a team-high 110 yards on nine carries with two touchdowns in the 49-0 win over Amherst. DiNapoli ripped off a 51-yard touchdown run on the Bantams' opening possession to take an early 7-0 lead. Hunter Tully (Taunton, Mass.) led the Bantams with a team-high seven tackles, including a tackle for a loss. Tully anchored a defense that shut out the Amherst offense and limited them to 145 total yards … Junior
Matthew Jumes (Franklin, Mass.) went 7-for-7 on extra point attempts in the Bantam's 49-0 win over Amherst.
Tufts –
Jaden Richardson (San Mateo, Calif.) had another banner game for the Jumbos, as the senior wideout finished with a career-high 10 grabs for 153 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-10 win over Williams. Richardson pulled in catches from 26, 29, and 39 yards for scores, as he posted his second game with three touchdowns in 2023. The senior leads the NESCAC in touchdowns and scoring with six, and is second in yards with 104.7 per game.
Wesleyan –
Chase Wilson (Lake Charles, La.) recorded career-highs across the board with 10 receptions for 158 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-14 home win over Hamilton. Wilson had big play receptions of 30, 46, and 25 yards in the win over the Continentals. Wilson's four touchdown receptions are the most by a Cardinal since Matt Perceval set the NCAA Division III record with seven against Middlebury in 1998.
Williams – Junior
Mario Fischetti (Glen Head, N.Y.) rushed 14 times for 138 yards, to go along with a game-best, 61-yard run, in a 28-10 setback at Tufts Saturday. Fischetti averaged 9.9 yards per carry and had one reception for five yards against Tufts … Senior
James Hemmer (Kenilworth, Ill.) registered 14 tackles, including eight solo, against the Jumbos … Junior
Ivan Shuran (Medina, Ohio) connected on a 32-yard field goal in the third quarter and also made his only PAT. Shuran had four kickoffs for a total of 207 yards, an average of 51.8 yards.
