Every Tuesday throughout the cross country season, the NESCAC Performers of the Week will be announced. The performers of the week for September 26 are:

NESCAC Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week
Ivan Appleton - Tufts - Jr. - Vinton, La.
Appleton led Tufts to a team victory at the 55th Annual Codfish Bowl at the historic Franklin Park course in Boston, Mass. Appleton posted a time of 25:17 over the 8K distance to pace the Jumbos and finished second overall in a field of 262 runners. Appleton was just three seconds behind the winner from Yale.

NESCAC Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week
Genna Girard - Williams - Sr. - Natick, Mass.
In Girard's first race of the 2023 season, the senior won the Ephs' own Purple Valley Classic clocking a time of 21:44.0 over the 6K course. As a team, Williams finished as runner-up with 37 points.
