NESCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Chartellis Reece – Tufts – Jr. RB – Frisco, Texas
Reece totaled 178 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-16 win over Bates. Reece’s 178 yards was the most by a Jumbo running back since 2016 and the two scores were the first two touchdowns of his career. He averaged nearly nine yards per carry on 20 totes.
NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Luke Harmon – Amherst – So. – DB – Washington, D.C.
Harmon led the Mammoths with nine tackles, including six solo, and two tackles for a loss on Saturday versus Hamilton. The sophomore had the Mammoths' only sack of the game and intercepted a pass in the game's closing minutes with 2:00 remaining. Harmon returned it 34 yards to the Hamilton five-yard line to set up the game-winning field goal in a 17-14 Amherst victory over the Continentals.
NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Matthew Jumes – Trinity – Jr. – K – Franklin, Mass.
Jumes set a career-high with four field goals in a game in the Bantam's road win at Colby. Jumes converted attempts from 21 yards, 24 yards, 29 yards, and 42 yards out. Jumes’ first three field goals came in the first two quarters to help Trinty climb out of a 7-0 hole and take a 9-7 lead at the break. The junior was also 4-for-4 in PATs.

Amherst – First-year
Tariq Mohammed (Troy, Mich.) had 78 yards on eight carries Saturday, including a 63-yard touchdown on his first carry of the game, as Amherst defeated Hamilton 17-14 … First-year
Matthew Kelley (Norfolk, Mass.) booted a 21-yard field goal with 1:13 left in the game to lift Amherst to a 17-14 win over Hamilton Saturday. He also went 2-for-2 on PATs.
Bates – In only his second game at wide receiver, sophomore
Sergio Beltran (East Palo Alto, Calif.) caught seven passes for a game-high 127 yards and two touchdowns Saturday at Tufts. Beltran’s first touchdown helped trim the Jumbos’ lead to 17-10 with 48 seconds left in the half. On a Bobcats’ drive later in the game, junior
Connor Bosselait (Westminster, Mass.) found Beltran for a 57-yard completion and the duo combined again on third and goal from the four-yard line for Beltran’s second touchdown of the evening, cutting the deficit to 30-16 …
Jack Morrison (Manchester Center, Vt.) led the Bobcats with seven tackles versus Tufts, including five solo stops. The first-year served as the last line of defense and made a couple of touchdown-saving tackles against the Jumbos … Senior Archie Green Jr.’s (Upland, Calif.) first punt pinned the Jumbos inside their own 20 with a 35-yard boot to the 12-yard line and on his second chance, Green Jr. was able to get a punt away despite a poor snap. The Bobcats were able to hold the Jumbos to a field goal after Green Jr. avoided the punt block attempt.
Bowdoin – Senior quarterback
Andrew Boel (Wyckoff, N.J.) went 14-27 with 244 yards plus a passing and a rushing touchdown in Saturday's victory over Williams ... Sophomore cornerback
Nick Viscusi (Wrentham, Mass.) was tied for the team lead with six tackles and made a leaping interception in the end zone in the third quarter, helping to preserve the Polar Bears' first shutout since 2004 in a 20-0 victory over Williams. Caden Perry (Houston, Texas) had a busy day in the Polar Bears' win over Williams. Perry booted a 41-yard field goal (the first of his career), had three of his five kickoffs land for touchbacks, and punted three times, averaging 39.67 per boot, including one fair catch and one inside the Ephs’ 20.
Colby –
Keon Smart (Woodstock, Ga.) led the Mules with 60 yards from scrimmage, 18 rushing and 42 receiving in a setback to Trinity. The junior tied a career-high with seven receptions and is closing in on 1000 scrimmage yards in his career (995) …
Julian Young (Manalapan, N.J.) collected 12 tackles (9 solo, 3 assisted) against the Bantams. The linebacker recorded his eighth double-digit tackling performance in the last 11 games. Young leads the NESCAC with 26 total tackles … First-year
Eli Soehren (Otisfield, Maine) punted five times for 191 yards, placing two punts inside the 20-yard line. The first-year’s 43-yard punt in the waning minutes of the second quarter was downed at the Trinity one-yard line and limited the Bantams to a 9-7 advantage at the half.
Hamilton – First-year
Nate Wildman (New York, N.Y.) ran for 119 yards on 35 carries and scored both touchdowns for the Continentals at Amherst. Wildman also caught a pass for 14 yards in just his second game … Senior
Nick Hoff (Parker, Colo.) was credited with a career-high 10 tackles including eight solo stops in a 17-14 setback at Amherst. Sophomore

Grant Blackburn (Wilmington, N.C.) recorded a sack – career firsts for both players … First-year
Ben Waterman (Milton, Mass.) made both extra-point attempts and averaged 59 yards on three kickoffs including one that went for a touchback at Amherst.
Middlebury – Sophomore
Ollie Orvis (Essex, Vt.) totaled a career-best 74 yards on the ground to pace all players in rushing in the Panthers’ tilt against Wesleyan. The sophomore scored two touchdowns to help keep Middlebury in the contest …
Finn Muldoon (Bethesda, Md.) led all NESCAC players with 14 tackles against the Cardinals. The defensive back recorded seven solo stops, while his total is tied for first in the conference for the season. Muldoon also had an interception against Wesleyan, which he returned for five yards.
Trinity –
Spencer Fetter (Winter Park, Fla.) completed 20-of-38 attempts for 313 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-7 win at Colby. With his first touchdown pass of the day, Fetter became Trinity's all-time leader in career passing touchdowns with 52, passing the mark set by Joe Shield in 1984 … Sophomore
Tyler Jameson (Lawrence, N.J.) pulled down a pair of interceptions in the Bantams' 48-7 victory at Colby. Jameson added two tackles for a Trinity defense that limited Colby to 123 total yards.
Tufts –
Vaughn Seelicke (Little Rock, Ark.) had a strong day for the Jumbos, as he scored 14 points in a 44-16 win over Bates. Seelicke was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra point attempts while making all three field goal attempts. Seelicke connected on field goal attempts from 26, 32, and 27 yards for the Jumbos. Seelicke’s three field goals in a game were a career-high, and the most in a game for a Tufts kicker since Willie Holmquist made three on Oct. 10, 2015.
Wesleyan –Wesleyan forced four Middlebury turnovers, including
Wesley Abraham’s (White Plains, N.Y.) first career interception that the junior returned 22 yards to the end zone for a touchdown in Saturday's 24-21 home win over the Panthers. Abraham's first career interception came early in the second quarter to give Wesleyan a 14-7 lead which it would not relinquish for the remainder of the game. The junior cornerback added two pass breakups to his stat line as Abraham leads the NESCAC with five in two games to start the season … First-year
Gage Hammond (Montclair, N.J.) executed five punts successfully in Saturday's 24-21 home win over Middlebury. He booted a 53-yard punt, marking his first 50+ punt of his career, and placed three of the five punts inside the Middlebury 20-yard line.
Williams –
Mario Fischetti (Glen Head, N.Y.) rushed 19 times for 79 yards at Bowdoin Saturday. The junior averaged 4.9 yards per carry and a long of 16 yards … Junior
Cameron Smith (Ridgewood, N.J.) totaled seven tackles (4 solo, 3 assisted) and 2.5 sacks against the Polar Bears … Senior
Tim Brown (West Newton, Mass.) punted eight times at Bowdoin, averaging 35.4 yards per punt. In the first quarter, Brown placed a punt inside Bowdoin's 20 and his longest punt of the day was a 45-yarder in the first quarter.
