NESCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Mike Piazza – Amherst – Sr. – QB – Wellesley, Mass.
Piazza completed 25-of-35 passes for a career-high 374 yards and two touchdowns in a come-from-behind 27-23 win at Bowdoin on Saturday. The 374 yards were 108 higher than his previous best, and it was his first multi-touchdown pass game of his career. The senior also ran for 23 yards in the victory.

NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Wesley Abraham – Wesleyan – Jr. – CB – White Plains, N.Y. 
Abraham made the game-sealing play in Saturday's 30-22 win at Williams with an interception with 1:03 remaining and the Ephs in possession on the Cardinals' 8-yard with a 1st-and-goal trailing by eight. The interception, which was Abraham's NESCAC-leading fifth of the season, sealed the win for the Cardinals who scored 22 unanswered points to erase a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Abraham added a season-high six tackles (all solo) to go along with one pass breakup to give him eight on the season in the win. 

NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Matthew Jumes – Trinity – Jr. – K – Franklin, Mass.
Jumes maintained his streak of PAT perfection, connecting on 7-of-7, in a 52-7 victory over Bates. For the season, Jumes is 33-of-33 on PATs. Jumes opened the scoring in the contest with a 27-yard field goal to give the Bantams an early 3-0 lead on their first possession. 

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
AmherstMatthew Kelley (Norfolk, Mass.) was 2-for-2 in field goal attempts (29 and 34 yards) and 3-for-3 on PATs in a comeback win at Bowdoin, 27-23, on Saturday. The rookie also punted once for 26 yards … Sophomore Kevin Agnew (Chatham, N.J.) made six tackles, 4 solo, intercepted a pass, broke up another pass, and blocked an extra point to help Amherst top Bowdoin.

BatesLiam Foley (Foxborough, Mass.) was efficient off the bench, completing 4-of-6 passes for 68 yards and a touchdown Saturday at Trinity. The fifth-year senior quarterback recorded his second career passing touchdown when he found rookie Nolan Hobbs (South Portland, Maine) from two yards out with 2:05 left in the fourth quarter. First-year Ryan Lynskey (Cranford, N.J.) also impressed, rushing for a career-high 71 yards on 14 carries … Ryan Rozich (Cromwell, Conn.) tallied a career-high 10 total tackles Saturday at Trinity, including four solo stops. The first year also recorded a QB hurry in a Connecticut homecoming for the Bates rookie, his best performance yet … Parker Huynh-Benningfield (Austin, Texas) averaged 32.1 yards per punt Saturday at Trinity, with a long of 49. He pinned the Bantams inside their own 20 twice on the afternoon.

Bowdoin – Senior tailback Andre Eden (Phoenix, Ariz.) had 79 yards rushing against Amherst on Saturday, becoming just the seventh player in program history to surpass 2,000 career yards on the ground … Junior punter Jotham Casey (Cheshire, Conn.) averaged 46.7 yards on three kicks, including dropping one inside the Amherst 5 and two boots of over 50 yards against the Mammoths.

Colby - Linebacker Mark Kassis (Salem, N.H.) collected a career-high 10 tackles in a setback against Tufts.  The senior has 21 tackles over the last three games … Subomi Soyoye (Mattapan, Mass.) returned kicks for 20 and 21-yards against the Jumbos.  The sophomore is averaging just under 22 yards on nine kickoff returns.  

Hamilton – Senior Ezra Lombardi (Danvers, Mass.) set career highs with six catches and 72 yards against Middlebury. Lombardi also had one carry for six yards … Junior defensive lineman Chase White (Bethesda, Md.) scored his first touchdown for the Continentals on a two-yard reception in the second quarter against Middlebury. White was also credited with four tackles. First-year Nico Obregon (Larchmont, N.Y.) collected his first interception at Hamilton.

Middlebury – Senior Cole Kennon (Nashville, Tenn.) led Middlebury with 308 yards through the air to help the Panthers topple Hamilton 41-7 in the Old Rocking Chair Classic. Kennon tallied three touchdown passes in the win, moving him into fifth place on Middlebury’s career list with 41. Kennon moved into the lead in the NESCAC with 1,929 yards on the year and is averaging 275.6 yards per game … Finn Muldoon (Bethesda, Md.) paced Middlebury with eight tackles and a pass breakup in the win over the Continentals. Muldoon has tallied eight or more stops in six straight games. The senior is part of a defense that has limited opponents to one touchdown or less in four contests this season while leading Middlebury with 63 tackles (36 solo) … Zach Levy (Arvada, Colo.) eclipsed double digits in scoring for the third straight game to help Middlebury improve to 6-1. The kicker tallied 11 points versus Hamilton, going a perfect 5-for-5 in PATs and 2-for-2 in field goals. Levy booted a career-best 41-yard field goal which ranks third in the NESCAC this season. The junior’s eight field goals this fall are tied for fourth on Middlebury’s single-season list, and the most by a kicker in over a decade. Levy is 23-for-23 in extra points this season.

Trinity – Graduate student Spencer Fetter (Winter Park, Fla.) completed 27-of-35 passes for 311 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-7 win over Bates. With less than three minutes to play in the first half, Fetter completed a 10-yard pass to Tyler DiNapoli to become Trinity’s all-time leader in passing yards (6,797) eclipsing the mark set by Joe Shield (1980-84) … Junior Ma-Lyke Davis (Danbury, Conn.) pulled down a crucial interception early in the first quarter to halt a Bobcat drive. The pick led to the Bantams first touchdown of the day to take a 10-0 lead.

Tufts – Junior Aundre Smith (Houston, Texas) had a breakout game on the ground for the Jumbos, as he finished with 95 yards on 10 carries, scoring twice while breaking for a 47-yard score for a touchdown in a win over Colby. Smith also added three punt returns for 24 yards, including a long of 11 yards … Senior Ed Iuteri (Greenwich, Conn.) and the Jumbos allowed just 28 passing yards while securing their first shutout in 29 games since October 19, 2019. The 28 passing yards against was the fewest since 2011 for the Jumbos. Iuteri was a big part of that, as he posted two sacks, four tackles, a forced fumble, a quarterback hurry, and a pass breakup … Vaughn Seelicke (Little Rock, Ark.) was once again perfect on all five of his place kicks in a 38-0 win by the Jumbos, as the sophomore was 4-for-4 on extra points while adding a 23-yard field goal in the second quarter. 

Wesleyan – Senior Thomas Elkhoury (Spring, Texas) posted seven catches for 128 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 30-22 come-from-behind win at Williams as the Cardinals captured back-to-back Little Three titles. Among the receptions was a diving 37-yard catch early in the second half while a 28-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter started the 22-0 scoring run for Wesleyan who overcame a 22-8 deficit in the win.

WilliamsOwen McHugh (Milton, Mass.) threw for 190 yards and two touchdown passes of 47-yards and 9-yards in a 30-22 setback against visiting Wesleyan on Saturday at Farley-Lamb Field. The first year also rushed for 73 yards … Rookie Holden Gering (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) made five solo tackles, had four pass break-ups, and an interception … Junior Ivan Shuran (Medina, Ohio) went 2-for-2 on field goals and 2-for-2 on PATs against the Cardinals.
