NESCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Colton Fahey – Bowdoin – Sr. - WR - North Andover, Mass.
Fahey had a record-breaking performance in a historic win for the Polar Bears against Colby on Saturday. Fahey hauled in nine catches for 173 yards and two touchdowns against the Mules, helping lift the Polar Bears to their first CBB crown since 2010. In the process, Fahey became Bowdoin's career leader in receiving yards (2,068, breaking a 12-year-old record) and Bowdoin's career leader in touchdown receptions (16, breaking a record that stood since 1965). Fahey ranks second in the NESCAC in receiving yards this season (107.1 per game) and first in yards per catch (19.0).
NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Christian Moore – Amherst – WR – Fy. – Renton, Wash.
Moore had three tackles, two interceptions, one fumble recovery, one pass breakup, and 123 return yards, plus a touchdown, in the Mammoths' 21-14 win over Williams. Moore's first interception came at the end of the first quarter at his own 4-yard line. The rookie returned it 76 yards and Amherst scored on the next play. On the Ephs' next possession, Moore recovered a fumble and returned it 47 yards for a touchdown, giving Amherst a 14-0 lead. The newcomer’s second interception came in his own end zone with under two minutes to go to seal the Amherst victory.
NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Zach Levy – Middlebury – Jr. – K – Arvada, Colo.
Levy scored seven points in a 19-10 victory over Tufts to help Middlebury extend its winning streak to six games. For the third-straight week, the kicker converted a pair of field goals, moving him into a tie in the Middlebury record books with 10 on the season. With one PAT, Levy is tied for ninth with 24 this fall, and his 54 total points rank 10th all-time.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Senior
Mike Piazza (Wellesley, Mass.) completed 13-of-18 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception, while rushing for a team-leading 73 yards as the Mammoths defeated Amherst, 21-14, on Saturday.
Bates –
Sergio Beltran (East Palo Alto, Calif.) caught a season-high 11 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown on Saturday versus Hamilton. The sophomore’s 49 catches this season are tied for second in the NESCAC with one game remaining …
Josh Ezerioha (Laurel Run, Pa.) had a breakout game for the Bobcats, tallying a season-high six tackles, including five solo stops. The rookie also notched his first collegiate sack and forced a fumble against the Continentals.
Colby -
Matt McHugh (Belmont, Mass.) hauled in four passes for 42 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's setback against Bowdoin. The junior has 467 yards on 33 receptions this season, after entering the campaign with one catch in his career … Junior
Julian Young (Manalapan, N.J.) racked up 14 tackles against the Polar Bears, tying his career-high and setting him nine tackles shy of his 2022 total.
Hamilton – Senior
Matt Banbury (Pittsburgh, Pa.) scored his first two rushing touchdowns this season. The senior, who opened the season as the starting quarterback and ended it as the No. 1 running back, finished with 322 yards rushing. Senior tight end
Mark Howrigan (St. Albans, Vt.) recorded season highs with five catches and 67 yards receiving … Sophomore
Kyle Bratcher (Park Ridge, N.J.) tied for the team lead with six tackles, forced and recovered a fumble on the first play of the fourth quarter, intercepted a pass late in the third quarter, and broke up another in a 21-7 win at Bates. Bratcher helped lead a Continentals defense that allowed just 204 yards of offense and limited the Bobcats to 2-of-17 on third down conversions … Newcomer
Ben Waterman (Milton, Mass.) made all three extra points in a 21-7 win at Bates. Waterman was a perfect 16-for-16 on PATs this season
Middlebury – For the fourth time this season,
Patrick Jamin (Rumson, N.J.) recorded over 100 yards receiving, helping Middlebury earn a 19-10 victory over Tufts and improve to 7-1. The Panther totaled 114 yards with six receptions in the victory. Jamin had 63 yards combined during two possessions in the second quarter, each time positioning Middlebury to kick a field goal and take a 6-0 lead. His 781 yards this fall ranks sixth all-time in the Middlebury record books …
Tomás Kenary (Chevy Chase, Md.) blocked a field goal in the second quarter to deny the Jumbos a chance at tying the contest. With under three minutes to go in the game, the Panther broke up a pass that was scooped up by a teammate and returned for the game-winning touchdown. Kenary had two sacks for 14 yards, moving him into second place on Middlebury’s single-season list with 11, while increasing his program-record career sacks mark to 24. The senior also helped the program break a school record for the most sack yards in a season (245) while the defensive unit registered 11 pass breakups marking the second most in a single game for the Panthers.
Trinity – Graduate student
Spencer Fetter (Winter Park, Fla.) completed 21-of-28 passes for 311 yards and matched a Trinity single-game record with six passing touchdowns in a 58-6 win at Wesleyan. For the season, Fetter owns a 63.6 completion percentage with 2,189 yards and 25 touchdowns … Sophomore
Tyler Jameson (Lawrence, N.J.) helped a stout Bantams defense hold the Wesleyan offense to six points. Jameson logged a tied team-high of five tackles, including four solo tackles, and pulled down one of five Trinity interceptions on the day … Junior
Matthew Jumes (Franklin, Mass.) remained perfect on PATs this season, adding an 8-for-8 performance with a 30-yard field goal against the Cardinals. For the season, Jumes is 41-of-41 on PATs, while converting 13-of-13 field goal attempts.
Williams –
Jon Oris (Cheshire, Conn.) rushed 26 times for 111 yards in a 21-14 setback at Amherst on Saturday. The sophomore also had three receptions for 21 yards. Oris had a rush of 20 yards in the second quarter … Newcomer

Tim Brown (West Newton, Mass.) punted four times at Amherst, including a punt of 47 yards, and placed one punt inside the Mammoths' 20-yard line.
