NESCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Luke Kurzum – Hamilton – Fy. – QB – Caldwell, N.J.
Kurzum was 17-of-29 passing for 177 yards and two touchdowns, and the first-year ran for 61 yards and another score in the Continentals' 36-34 win over Tufts in five overtimes. It's the first time Kurzum has accounted for three touchdowns in a game. Kurzum's 31-yard scramble on third-and-31 with 14 seconds left set up Hamilton's game-tying field goal from 29 yards out with 2.8 seconds remaining.

NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Dylan Connors – Wesleyan -  So. – DB – Hewitt, N.J.
Connors returned his first career interception 82 yards for a touchdown with just 24 seconds left in the first half to give Wesleyan a 20-7 lead just as Amherst was driving deep in Cardinal territory. Connors added two pass breakups and three tackles to his totals as Wesleyan defeated the Mammoths 34-7, recording their largest win against their Little Three rival since 1992. 

NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Ben Waterman – Hamilton – Fy. - DB/K – Milton, Mass.
Waterman was 3-for-3 on extra points and made a 29-yard field goal with 2.8 seconds left in the fourth quarter that tied the score at 17-17 versus Tufts. The Continentals eventually won 36-34 in five overtimes. The first year averaged 52.3 yards on four kickoffs and one went for a touchback.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Senior linebacker Andy Skirzenski (Newport, R.I.) made 12 tackles, including four solo and 1.5 for loss, in a 34-7 at Wesleyan on Saturday. 

HamiltonCole Rivell (Endicott, N.Y.) finished with 11 tackles, including 10 solo stops, in a 36-34 win against Tufts in five overtimes. Rivell is second in the NESCAC with 9.4 tackles per game. Sophomore Kyle Bratcher (Park Ridge, N.J.) broke up three passes and added six solo tackles. One of Bratcher's stops went for a three-yard loss during the second overtime.

Tufts – Junior Chartellis Reece (Frisco, Texas) posted his third 100-yard game on Saturday at Hamilton. The tailback recorded 168 yards on 27 carries, adding a touchdown on the ground and three catches for 25 yards. Reece leads the NESCAC in rushing by nearly 200 yards on the season and has a league-high seven scores … Javier Rios (Walpole, Mass.) posted seven tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks in a 36-34 five-overtime loss to Hamilton. The senior defensive tackle also forced a fumble in the game. 

WesleyanChase Wilson (Lake Charles, La.) led the Cardinals to an impressive 34-7 win over Amherst with nine receptions for 146 yards and touchdowns of 21 and 50 yards. Wilson averaged 16.2 yards per catch and finished just one catch and was 12 yards off his single-game career highs in both categories. The junior has the second-most catches, yards, and touchdowns of any player in the NESCAC as he led the Cardinals to their largest win over the Mammoths since 1992 … Luke LaSaracina (Colchester, Conn.) made a career-high four tackles, including three on special teams, in Saturday's 34-7 Homecoming win over Amherst.

The football games involving Bates, Bowdoin, and Colby originally scheduled for Saturday, October 28 were postponed due to the tragic events last week in Lewiston, Maine and Bates, Bowdoin, and Colby not hosting events on campus last week. Those games have been rescheduled for Saturday, November 18 at the originally scheduled sites.
