NESCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Andrew Boel – Bowdoin – Sr. – QB – Wyckoff, N.J.
Down by 10 points on two occasions, Boel rallied the Polar Bears to score a season-high 35 points in Bowdoin's first win over Bates since 2018 on Saturday. Boel was efficient, going 14-for-20 for 225 yards through the air with four touchdown passes. He also added 23 rushing yards on the day. With the performance, Boel moved into second place all-time at Bowdoin with 26 career touchdown passes and stands second all-time in program history in completions (337) and yards (4,433).
NESCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Finn Muldoon – Middlebury – Sr. – DB – Bethesda, Md.
In the fourth quarter against Trinity, Muldoon had a pair of significant turnovers, forcing a fumble to give Middlebury possession and tallying an interception to set up the game-winning touchdown. The senior recorded double-digit tackles (12) for the second time this season and ranks second on the squad with 45 on the year. Muldoon was part of a defense that did not allow a Bantam touchdown. The Middlebury win marked just the fifth time in 23 years that Trinity has lost at home, with two of those coming at the hands of the Panthers. The Panthers also snapped Trinity's 15-game win streak.
NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Christos Tzoumaskas – Colby – Fy. – K – Birmingham, Mich.
Tzoumakas converted a game-winning 25-yard field goal with three seconds remaining as the Mules topped the Mammoths, 19-16, and Colby won its third straight game. The first year made good on both extra-point attempts, kicked off four times, and punted twice.

Amherst – Junior
Owen Gaydos (Ridgefield, Conn.) caught eight passes for 63 yards, including a 7-yard touchdown, in the Mammoths' 19-16 loss to Colby Saturday … Sophomore
Luke Harmon (Washington D.C.) made 13 tackles (11 solo) and four for loss, including one of two Mammoths sacks on the day against the Mules.
Bates –
Drew Sachs (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) had a breakout game for the Bobcats, catching eight passes for 106 yards and a touchdown at Bowdoin on Saturday. The junior's 10-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter marked Sachs' first collegiate touchdown and put the Bobcats up 17-7 …
Matt Juneau (Wakefield, Mass.) led the Bobcats with eight total tackles, including a season-high seven solo stops against the Polar Bears. The junior also recorded his third tackle for loss of the season …
Marcos Ruiz (Haskell, N.J.) made both his field goal attempts against Bowdoin, including a season-long 38-yarder to put Bates up 10-0 in the first quarter. The rookie also made both his PAT attempts against the Polar Bears. Ruiz is 5-for-5 on field goals this season.
Bowdoin – Junior linebacker
Koy Price (Norwalk, Conn.) contributed to the Polar Bears holding Bates to a school-record negative-25 yards rushing in a victory Saturday. Price had eight total tackles, four for a loss, two sacks, and the game-clinching forced fumble in the fourth quarter that sealed Bowdoin's first win over Bates since 2018. Price leads the NESCAC in forced fumbles and ranks in the top four in both sacks and tackles for loss this fall.
Colby –
Thomas Keeling (Irvine, Calif.) threw for over 200 yards for the second straight game and led Colby on long scoring drives at the end of the second and fourth quarters in the victory at Amherst. Down by two with 1:34 remaining in the contest and the ball on Colby's 12-yard line, Keeling went 4-for-5 passing, ran the ball twice, and converted four first downs to set up the game-winning field goal with three seconds remaining. The senior tallied his first career rushing touchdown to cap the first-half scoring. Since being named the starter in Week 3, Keeling has led the Mules to three straight wins …
Payton Reid (Pottstown, Pa.) tallied five tackles, including sharing a sack, in Colby's victory in Amherst. The senior linebacker forced a fumble late in the first quarter to push the Mammoths out of the red zone, forcing them to settle for a field goal, and added a pass breakup in the third quarter.
Hamilton – Rookie
Nate Wildman (New York, N.Y.) led all players with 82 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns in a 24-17 setback against Williams. Wildman's 22-yard touchdown run on the first play of the fourth quarter pulled the Continentals within 17-16 … Sophomore
Kyle Bratcher (Park Ridge, N.J.) had an interception, broke up a pass, and registered five solo tackles against the Ephs. Bratcher leads the team with three interceptions this season … First-year
Ben Waterman (Milton, Mass.) kicked a 21-yard field goal and made both extra points against Williams. The field goal is the first of Waterman's Hamilton career. Waterman averaged 59 yards on four kickoffs, which included two touchbacks.
Middlebury –
Mike Ahonen (Wellesley, Mass.) had a breakout day on Saturday, helping Middlebury snap Trinity's 15-game winning streak with a 20-15 victory. The Panther led all players in the NESCAC with a career-best 175 yards receiving, which ranks second through five weeks. Ahonen had nine receptions, including the game-winning career-long 68-yard haul in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to secure the victory. That reception total was the longest in conference play last week and tied for fifth overall this season. The Middlebury win marked just the fifth time in 23 years that the Bantams lost at home, with two of those coming at the hands of the Panthers.
Trinity –
Tyler DiNapoli (West Haven, Conn.) was a workhorse for the Bantams' offense in a 20-15 loss to Middlebury. The sophomore registered a career-high 33 carries for 138 yards, averaging 4.2 yards per carry … Junior

Matthew Jumes (Franklin, Mass.) set a Trinity school record for field goals in a game, converting 5-of-5 attempts versus Middlebury. Jumes made kicks from 30, 39, 42, and 27 yards, along with a season-long 44-yarder to account for all of Trinity's scoring.
Tufts –
Cade Moore (The Woodlands, Texas) helped the Tufts offense score on each of its five drives, rolling to a 49-14 win over Wesleyan on Saturday night. Moore caught the game's first touchdown pass from 17 yards out, and later in the contest pulled in a 20-yard reception to hit paydirt to put Tufts up 42-7. The junior finished the game with eight grabs for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Moore has 22 catches for 289 yards and three touchdowns this season …
Shane Reiner (Madison, Conn.) recorded nine tackles including seven solo stops in the win over Wesleyan. The senior had three tackles for loss and three sacks, including back-to-back sacks in the first quarter. Reiner forced a fumble in the second quarter that the Jumbos recovered.
Williams –
Owen McHugh (Milton, Mass.) went 13-for-23 passing for 215 yards, with one touchdown in a 24-17 win at Hamilton Saturday. The rookie also rushed 16 times for a net total of 69 yards. McHugh threw the game-winning, 55-yard touchdown pass with 4:56 remaining in the fourth quarter to help the Ephs earn the win over the Continentals … Junior

Ivan Shuran (Medina, Ohio) made the one field goal attempt he had and was 3-for-3 on PATs against the Continentals. The junior also had five kickoffs for a total of 258 yards, averaging 51.6 per kickoff.
